I have never given this poor of a review for any service I have received. This company makes up their policies as they go. I went to pick up a vehicle that was in an accident and they towed the vehicle to their property. They told me I had to pay cash ( which was $1300 plus less than a weeks storage fees that added up to $1680.) They refused to take anything but cash because we were told the sheriff's department had it impounded the vehicle. I called the sheriff department and talked to deputy that was on the scene and was told it wasn't impounded. When I told the manager I talked to sheriff's department they didn't impounded it the lady changed her story to say it's their "Co.policy" to impounded a vehicle if the sheriff's department calls them out. We tried to talk to this manager and discuss why Illinois State law doesn't work like that. The other 1 star review was correct about saying this company demands cash payment for an unlawful reason. The lady started yelling at us and I asked her to please stop yelling at us because we weren't yelling at her. We were just trying to communicate. She became extremely rude and aggressive and told us to leave b/c she was going to call the cops on us. She stated we have 3 cameras and it recorded everything. Well it recorded her being rude and aggressive towards patrons that only wanted to resolve a problem with out her yelling. That is the kind of service we we treated. We left and got cash then went back to pay the $1680 and they upped the price. They did take off the extra cost after we called them out. Can't believe there are such greedy, hateful people in a smaller community business. You would think word of mouth would hurt their business practices. I will say a prayer for them.

Very good service!!! Showed up quickly! Very friendly and polite!! I was very impressed that driver understood my problem and knew what to do. Not only did driver get my truck to start but it ran long enough that he drove it up onto tow trailer. If I had a compliant it would be that it was little expensive but I experience such a great service that I felt that my husband old truck was in good hands.Service: Special vehicle towing

missing christmas because of bergs. bergs towed my schoolbus that i converted to an rv 2 weeks ago. they are charging an unfair amount and breaking all of the laws 1. they did not send a notice by certified mail that they had my bus. this means they can not charge storage fees. this past dates so if they have screwed you, use it. 70 ILCS 50/1.5 2. they are required to charge the rate that they have listed with the city of monmouth and this amount must be posted at their location also. 125 was listed 550 was charged. 3. They told me cash only which is how i discovered the law breaking. they have to accept jsut about all other types of payment by law. They will not let me talk to the owner nor give him a message. they will not work with me. my boyfriend and i have 6 kids that we will not be traveling to see for christmas. they have our home.Service: Special vehicle towing
