Ove is the absolute best guy ever! It is a rare find these days, but he is knowledgeable, humble and honest. We brought out Chevy 4500 Shuttle bus to him, after spending over 3k at another shop throwing parts at it. He quickly found the problem and got us going for an extremely fare price!

Obe and Josh were the BEST ever. We were traveling through from SD to SC and our 7.3 Powerstroke wouldn’t maintain idle. I started calling shops in Davenport and nobody could diagnose the problem or get us in. We called Obe. Even though he was 2 weeks out with repairs, he told us to “come on over.” He knew we were trying to get back to SC. I can’t begin to express the gratitude for his accommodating and friendly demeanor. He knew EXACTLY what the problem was, fixed it promptly and with a smile on his face. Kyle and the guys over at Overtime Diesel were a life saver for us. We were on a drive from Washington to Illinois when our van broke down in Iowa City. We called all over the place and could not find a diesel mechanic that was not booked out and could get us in.Fortunately upon explaining our situation to Kyle, he was kind enough to squeeze us in and get us back on road despite being also booked out themselves.After replacing our Oil Pressure Regulator, we were able to get to our destination and back home with no issues.Would highly recommend Overtime Diesel.

The owner Ove knows his stuff and he stands behind the work that comes out of his shop! I picked my truck up from having the fuel system completely replaced and made it over 3 hours away when I found I had 2 fuel leaks. Ove drove out to me, diagnosed the issue, and then went a couple hour round trip to get the parts to fix it. Turned out to be some tiny O-rings on the return line of some injectors. After putting everything back together he followed me down the road for almost an hour and then we pulled over to verify everything was still good. Good to know there is still genuine people out there who care about their customers! Highly recommend!
