I was rear ended, Had to go to A prefered Body shop for repairs, Platinium Collision VOLO il, Upon pick up, I was told to take my car to a mechanic to HAVE A GOOD ONCE OVER , AS PLATINIUM is a body shop only -CALLED Morrie, He refused, to check my car out-MORRIE TOLD ME TO
CALL.MY INS CO and refused to Evaluate my car for any possible Mechanical issues.Hmm Never met aa mechanic who doesnt want business-

I highly recommend this Auto Repair Shop in McHenry. They do not only an excellent job but explain everything clearly. Kept me informed by calling me with updates on my repair.
Very satisfied and plan on taking my car back for future repairs and maintenance.

I have used Morrie and Son’s for several year’s now. Both for unexpected repair’s and routine maintenance. Just used them again last week. It’s the only place I fully trust for any/all repairs, and to recommend to others. Never a single problem with any part of their service over my many visits. Trustworthy, affordable, dependable, quality work. Really great family owned and operated business! Not many gems like this place left anymore. Thanks to Mitch, Austin, Nikki, and the whole staff for always doing such a great job!

Took our vehicle here to see what was causing battery drain. They didn't seem to really want to tackle it and just put a disconnect on the negative battery terminal and simply said to flip the switch once we get out and that'll prevent the drain. Zero effort put into what was causing the drain in the first place. Also went with another car for a different issue and little effort was made to see what our issue was. WE PLAN TO NEVER RETURN HERE.
