Auto Zone
Decent place for auto parts & accessories. Several of the folks working there were very helpful. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for and showed me choices that would be better for my need.
That's the type of service that is dying across the country; being replaced by a screen or automated service, which is no help most of the time. Specially searching for something you're not quiet sure the right part of item.
Not all of their employees are there to serve. A couple are just there to fool around with the blond girl "working" the same shift. (or goofing around in the back) Just what I've noticed stopping in 3 or 4 times over 2 weeks.

Not a very good place to buy electrical parts for a vehicle they say they're under warranty if you get another one from somewhere else they will not refund your money back to you very rude manager tonight today is Sunday May 5th 2024 the manager is very very rude

Oil drop refused from my mower. I spend several thousand of dollars here a year. I will no longer spend my money here I will go to advance auto from now on. 3 employees one manager outside having a cigarette while there is a huge line inside. I also will stop using my commercial account as well … we will get set up someplace else. I’m sure they would love the money I spend there both personally and under my commercial account. I guess your loss will be another store gain.

Jeremy Thompson does an awesome job. He is highly knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He even went the extra mile and installed the part on my car. I would recommend anyone I know with car problems to go to him at autozone.

Last night, 3-23-24 I was heading home to Southern IL from Memphis TN. When I was near Sikeston my alternator started quitting. My truck was towing a trailer with my broken down car on it( which had broken down last week) I was trying to think of my options. I called ahead to Marion IL Autozone and told them of my situation and that I’d like to buy a new alternator but I would be cutting it close to closing time. At first the employee said it shouldn’t be a problem, as long as I got there before 9PM. I told himI would call back when I got closer and was sure I’d make it around 8:50PM according to GPS.
When I got closer and called him letting him know I had to change the part in the parking lot he changed his tune and said “They get really man if I don’t close the store at 9.” I told him I understand but I was in a tight spot. He said he couldn’t keep the store open late. I told him I was sorry for putting him out and he said he wished me luck. I was frustrated, upset and kinda of astonished that he handled it that way. I did get ahold of my hometown store and asked if they had the part in stock. Bo Moore was very helpful, had the part ready for me first thing in the morning and really showed me what great customer service is. Maybe the Marion IL store could take a page from the Mt Carmel book and try to practice customer service.

These guys are very helpful their price match prices are not too high to begin with a lot of times they will help you install or little things windshield wipers batteries they will check parts of your car your batteries your alternators certain things they will run a diagnostics check on your check engine see what codes it's giving and most of them not all but most know what they're doing on all very helpful
