I've been taking my 2015 Honda CRV to Honda of Lisle for several years now. (I've also taken my son's 2015 Honda CRV to them as well, when he has been in town and needed repairs.) They have always treated me fairly and have never recommended a repair that I didn't need. Their workmanship is outstanding. And when I have encountered a problem, they have always made things right. In fact, they have gone way above my expectations at times to make sure that I know that I'm a valued customer. To be frank, I can't recommend them highly enough. And now that they've got a new Illy Coffee machine (those things cost over $7,000 retail), even the waiting room is a treat.

Great dealship to buy from. Service is average but no serious problems. We've bought three cars from here over the past decade and have never had buyers remorse (2011 Pilot, 2013 Pilot, 2020 Cr-V). Long lasting cars that you can get a good price on. Mike deserves a special shout-out.

Absolutely horrendous service department. They just make customers wait and wait and wait for excessive amounts of time, even for basic oil changes and tire rotations. Poor atmosphere, and overall environment and quality of work. Egregious pricing. Highly recommend avoiding. Very SHADY dealership and service department.

I went in to have a sound in my car checked, and the intake person was so condescending and rude to me. I am not sure he would have spoken to me like this if I was a man, but I left very upset. He was also rude to one of his co-workers in front of me, who was trying to help me. I will never go back there, even though, it is closer to my home. I went to the Honda dealer in Aurora/Naperville, and they were AMAZING. Very professional, very organized, and helped me that day. We bought our minivan from the Aurora location to begin with because we had a bad experience at Lisle. The salesperson wrote his quote down on a Post-it note, and he would not print out a detailed description. He also would not show us any of the newer models, even though, they were out on the market. He was trying to push the previous year. We had a bad vibe, but because of their proximity, I thought I would try their service department.

Scummy dealer. Huge add ons and charging way over MSRP. AVOID! Don't even bother going here. Plenty of other Honda dealers are playing fair game. This dealer and GM are scummy. The second I walked in you could tell it was nothing like Honda of Naperville. These guys lied, couldn't even dress professional and it was empty for a reason. Honda of Naperville (20 min drive) had hundreds of happy customers today. Honda of lisle was a ghost town...and I learned why.

I travel from St Charles to buy cars and have them serviced in Lisle. The staff has always been kind and courteous . They readily share coupons with me, and never pressure or upsell me. They will give me an honest assessment if my car needs service beyond what I expected. I drive past another Honda dealer to give them my business. It's worth it!

Two weeks ago, we brought our Honda Ridgeline to the Service Department to have the keys reprogrammed. One key had a broken housing and didn't work all the time, one worked but needed a new battery, and we also purchased a new key. When I picked up our truck, the key with the broken housing still didn't work all the time, the key that needed a battery didn't work at all, and the new key worked. Honda service told me that we could bring the truck back and get all 3 working - and, also have a recall issue addressed. Mistakes can happen so I made another appointment. Today, I arrived at the Service Department at 10:45a for my 11am appointment and was told the car would be ready between 1 and 1:30pm. At 1:40p I was told that the repairs had not begun and my car "would be next". Since this was the second time an error was made, and I had already spent 3 hours in the service department, I took my car back to work to salvage the end of the work day. We paid $80 for keys that were not correctly programmed during the first visit and wasted the majority of a work day with no service completed on our truck during the second visit. Money and time wasted and we're back to where we were two weeks ago, keys aren't programmed and the recall hasn't been fixed.

My car had general Maintenance due and at the time they took it in and completed all that was necessary, plus checked out other items on the car, as a courtesy. And then couple weeks later, my auto broke down in Chicago. I had it towed to the Honda dealer, in Lisle. They worked and checked the auto over and found out the car was stalling out due to cotton seed interfered with a computer on the car engine. Again, they checked it all over before and after they found the main problem. And since it was a freak of nature and nothing mechanical , they did not charge me for their time working it. I was very appreciative of this, since they could have charged me several hundred dollars and I would have never known it was a very simple problem .

I took my brand new 2023 Honda Odyssey Elite to this dealer for an oil change. Can I repeat a simple oil change! In which my car was crashed by a Honda employee and there was severe damage to the bumper and it needed to be replaced. Replaced on a van that is less than a year old!!! This happened last Friday, and here I am a week later, and I am still waiting to get my van back. My husband was told it would be a quick turnaround, pickup on Friday, so he left without our 3 carseats. Taking their word was a big mistake! I have reached out to Jeff and Liz (manager), who were my point of contacts and BOTH are out of the office until Monday. We were given a rental, but here we are, another weekend without carseats. This place is unprofessional and not a place I ever want to do business with again. The amount of carelessness and inconvenience is ridiculous. Yes, I was given a rental, but if my van was not damaged, I would not have needed one. The rental I was given has fewer features than what I am paying for (wifi, navigation, tv). I am also sure the value of my vehicle will be less as a result of this. I wish I had done my research beforehand and I hope I can save someone the hassle and headache of doing business at this place!

Saw they had a 2023 Honda Accord EX w/BSI in stock. I called in and the BDC rep. said the car was in stock. I told her to send me a bill of sale with all fees listed. She said she couldn't do that and all negotiations had to be done in person. I should've taken that as the first red sign. Whenever a dealer wants you to come in to get a number, they have b.s. add-ons added to the car. So, I decided to drive an hour to the dealership(stupid of me), and boom the car apparently "sold" before I got there. Why did no one call me and let me know the car had been sold? I scheduled an appointment to see that car. That would've saved me an hour trip to the dealership. So I asked the salesmen if they have any incoming Accord without the blind-spot detection system(I guess Honda stopped making Accords with BSI)? He said they do. So, I asked them what their best number was on that car? The salesman came back with a bill of sale. The car was marked up $5k over the sticker with a "Market adjustment" and "protection package". So, a $30,000 Honda Accord was now $35,000. Why in the world would I pay that much for a base Accord? I'd rather go get a couple-year-old BMW or Mercedes. Better fit and finish for less. How can a car that is not even on your lot have "interior and exterior" protection applied to it? Next comes the sales manager. He tries to tell me that no dealer is selling Accord under MSRP. I pulled out two quotes from Valley Honda and Mcgrath Honda in Elgin. Both dealers are selling their Accords for $2k~ under MSRP. The sales manager then proceeded to tell me the people that brought the EX Accord I was interested in paid more than what I was quoted for the car. Well hey buddy, not everyone is an idiot.

Not going back there for service or to purchase automobile again. Charged me twice for an oil change, once on 5/12/2023 and again on 5/13/2023. Calling 5/15/2023 to get a refund on one of the oil and filter changes. Didn't use the oil and filter I provided, twice. Wasted a lot of my time. Mr. Dickeson or the other service advisor wasn't the problem. Not sure what the problem is, but it won't be my problem anymore. Made an appointment on Tuesday at "Mike More Miles" to get oil and filter changed using the materials I provide.

The Parts Department has been nothing but fantastic for my business. Zero issues and parts are delivered when promised.

Absolutely awful service. Charged me $90 diagnostic fee to tell me the Honda part that was replace was defective. On top of that, they didn't even wash our car after paying $90 to be told that their part is defective. The last time we went there for service, they improperly fastened the tire, leaving me with a completely flat tire on Ogden Ave in a snowstorm. I will never go back there again, two strikes and you're out. I won't give you the chance for a third strike. If zero stars were an option, I'd give them a zero.

DO NOT USE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT at Honda of Lisle EVER!! They rip you off. I had 3 lights show up on my dashboard. Since I purchased my car from Honda of Lisle along with the extended warranty, I called them to make an appointment. I had to wait 2 hours for them to check out my car. They told me there was a blockage in the FTP sensor breather tube due to it being torn or chewed through by a rodent. They said they had to order the part and it would take over a week and it would be around $300. They gave me no paperwork. So I asked for something in writing. I attached the note they wrote and the picture of my dash lights that came on in my car. When I left I was extremely upset about the whole rodent possibility. I could not sleep. I had my garage door repaired the next day to make sure that all the seals were properly sealed all around. I spent hours going over the inside of the garage. The thought of rodents in my garage and getting in my car made me sick to my stomach. I literally anguished over this for days. Finally I took my car in to another mechanic for a second opinion. I could not just sit and do nothing and wait while the part came in and wonder in the mean time if my car was in jeopardy to more damage. It made me sick with worry. I took it to my regular mechanic since it was not warranty work that would involve my extended warranty at the Honda dealership. He looked and could not find anything. He had to call Honda. They explained where to find the breather tube. My mechanic took it out, (see the picture attached) it was a TINY crack, NO CHEW MARKS ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND. The piece DID NOT NEED to be ordered. My mechanic said he could fix it for 80 cents and that he sees absolutely NO SIGNS OF RODENT DAMAGE. He said my battery is the original battery in the car and since it is 5 years old, I should get a new battery so it does not die on me while I am out one day. He saved me the $300 for a bogus tube repair and saved me by changing my battery. NEVER TRUST HONDA OF LISLE EVER. To add insult to injury my mechanic received a call back from Honda, a man named Darren who told him that they charge to diagnosis a car, but they will make an exception and zero out my balance. Do you believe that? They try and rip me off for $300, they make me worry about rodents, I spent money updating my garage seals and had a company come out and put traps in the garage, and I was literally sick about it, ALL FOR NOTHING!!!!! Darren had the nerve to say he was going to make an exception for me? If you don't want to be lied to, ripped off, treated disrespectfully, and then insulted on top of it, AVOID HONDA OF LISLE!!! The pictures do not lie. My mechanic, Jim, literally fixed the hose for practically nothing and it took 5 minutes. Plus I was grateful he found a real potential issue and saved me from my 5 year old battery dying one day on me while I was alone driving on the road. If you need a mechanic you can trust go to Krage's Tire Center in West Chicago, tell them you read this review. They will treat you right!!!!!!

My car was brought in Saturday, not worked on until Tuesday. They wanted to charge me 900+ without even knowing what the problem was or fixing anything. Terrible service, terrible business. Elizabeth was really good, she had excellent customer service and the mechanic Mike was excellent and professional. There definitely is miscommunication and a disconnect between service and the customer. I will never buy a Honda or take my car here again because of this experience.
