These guys have excellent customer service they are in Illinois and I'm in South Dakota everyone in town where I live was charging $5,500 for rebuilt transmission that was 32 years old. I found shipped right transmissions on eBay then I called them and I got a full rebuilt transmission all new components and with the 10,000 mi warranty with options to have a hard warranty if I wanted to pay a little more and I got that model transmission for $2,700 bucks included shipping and tax and core for my '92 Dodge w250 I am beyond excited. Shiftright transmissions offers the right prices for your transmission not Covid prices. Family-owned business and they have been around a long time.

Luke is a great example of a knowledgeable and friendly professional. Hope the company recognizes him and his contributions.
I recently did a motor and transmission swap on a vehicle and had a leak. While fixing it, I also wanted to take care of a potential failure point, the pump. I’m on the East Coast and knowledgeable and reputable options are limited. I called and spoke with Luke and within a few days had the pump.
These guys went above and beyond. They provided gaskets that I had assumed I would need to buy and even the filter seal already installed.
Transmission is back in and my temps even lowered about 15 degrees.
Very knowledgeable, very friendly and I will be back if I ever have transmission concerns.

If you have any doubt about purchasing your transmission from Shiftrite put it to the side . I can promise you they stand on their work because it’s top shelf and the small chance they do make a mistake they will rectify it I assure you . I must say I had serious thoughts about purchasing a transmission from Illinois living in Virginia. But after speaking to Molly, I felt it was the best decision I could have made. The 4r75w They replaced was better than the factory. No lag between shifts. I installed this trans myself.And it was like Molly and the other techs were right here with me
For anything I needed. The price with shipping was very good.Purchasing a great product is usually priority with something like this, but good customer service is important also and they do. I butt dialed Molly after hours by misteak, and she called me back first thing that next morning. This was my experience with shift rite And I am happy with doing business with them.

they sent me a trans after install the truck had a very harsh shift and a clutch ratio code. i called them and explained the concerns I was told it's the truck after i proved it's not they send me a valve body after install with no luck then sent a converter with no luck again. they sent another trans with not only the same harsh shift and codes it now has a severe vibration. due to incorrectly balanced or damaged converter. feed up I purchased a new unit from ford and installed I then spent over a month to get a refund that I had to file a dispute with cc company to get I also lost the money for trans r and r 4 times and almost 35 qrts or merc-lv for them to admit they installed incorrect valve body and also must have sent me incorrect valve body stay away.

Needed a transmission for my dodge 5500. They shipped it quickly to my mechanic then let me bring the core in since I was going to be in the area, so I didn’t have to spend a bunch on shipping to get my core deposit back! Molly is the best to deal with! Can’t go wrong with them!

The owner was very involved with my 4l80e swap. Had an internal harness connector o-ring leak they helped me resolve to prevent fluid from leaching up into the main input harness. After that the trans performed flawlessly. Great communications and shipping crate professionally done. I will use them again I am sure. I would proudly wear a shirt or hat with their logo.
