“McPhail's is a smaller shop but I buy all my tires and get my oil changes there because they have good prices and the service is top notch. I don't talk to the owner much because he's always busy under the hood of a car so I talk to the son Allen most of time and Allen always goes out of his way to make sure my tires and oil are in good shape! In my opinion McPhail's Garage is the best shop with the best deals for tires and oil in Kankakee!!!!”

“After being SCREWED by U-Haul awhile back I found the need to rent a truck to move material again.... After reserving was contacted and initially asked to pick up about 50 Miles away AFTER driving by this location and seeing six vehicles in the size I needed..... Mentioned it to coordinator and told them I need the truck for no more than 8 hours.... POOF, truck available and even got use of a dolly for no charge. UTTERLY FANTASTIC STAFF AT THIS SITE may cause me to say USE THIS LOCATION but NEVER trust the sales pitch or promises of road service when thier equipment fails....”
“We had a very positive experience Wii's this location. It is spacious, clean and well stocked. The clerk was very professional and friendly, he did a very good job checking us in and out. The rental truck was clean and well maintained. The pricess were fair. I will certainly be returning again when the need comes up.”

“I have always had easy and smooth rentals with Uhaul in the past. Unfortunately our most recent rental, was quite the opposite of smooth and easy. We were having issues with another Uhaul location and Uhaul corporate with our Uhaul box arriving late and to the wrong location with lots of other miscommunication. Dana, the manager, was very helpful with our drop off at the Kankakee location, and ensuring that I was able to get refunded for our box arriving 7 days late. If you have any issues, she will make sure that they get resolved. Thanks Dana!”
