Dave is now my go to guy. Another local hot rod shop did a brake job and carb tune on my '67 Camaro last summer, but the brakes were thumping so I contacted Keister's to inspect. Dave went through the entire system and found missing brake parts, and now they're smooth and reliable. I knew the master cylinder was leaking and had it replaced, too. He also tuned the too rich carb and repaired a trans leak. My Camaro has NEVER RUN BETTER ! I'm very particular of who I allow to work on my car, and Dave has earned my trust and all my future business.

I have been coming to KIESTER'S GARAGE in Joliet, Illinois, for car maintenance and repairs, for more than 10 years. I am always greatly satisfied with the integrity of their personal character and superb quality of their mechanical skills, as they've been providing their very important services to myself, and for the benefit of all my vehicles. Dave Sr., Dave Jr., Bob, Christine, Jen, Sam, and others, - forgive me if I forgot anyone else, - are so amiable, personable, and friendly, that a customer "feels at home" and comfortably welcomed right away. The whole place reverberates with an atmosphere of kindness and decency, due to the compassionate ways in which they fulfill their professional responsibilities in honestly servicing this community for more than 60 years. Dave Kiester, father and son, are very honorable American businessmen who sincerely care about their customers' peace of mind, which is always ensured by the confidence customers immediately sense, develop and receive, because of the integrity of their personal character and professional know-how. It's indeed a blessing to know them, as a friendly, caring, compassionate, and decent group of people. In short, it really "feels like family." I strongly recommend their place of business that is managed by such good people who reflect and share their precious compassionate professionalism with this community which they've been servicing, so graciously, so responsibly, and so caringly, for more than 60 years, and, assuredly, for many more years to come. the best mechanic ever fixed my sons lexus he can repair any car and honest snd reasonable too. dave and bob took the time out to discuss what the problem was! thanks to both of them . i will always use keisters . !

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had with any mechanic. David, not only found out what was wrong with my car, he fixed it so quickly when he called to tell me it was done and my car was running like new again I felt an enormous weight off my shoulders. I had first taken my car to the dealership (volkswagen) which was the biggest mistake I could have done, they miss judged the diagnosis of my car and jumped to conclusions which was not only wrong, but would have cost me a fortune to fix. My uncle John recommended I take my car to Keisters and had spoke very highly of the owner David. I went with my uncles advice and took it to keisters and the owner took care of me with white glove treatment. He called me to give me updates on my car while he was doing the work which is what I loved. The trust he built with me, through his expertise and knowledge was a complete wow factor. You really don’t get service like this nowadays. This place is the BEST and I would recommend them to any close family or friend of mine. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

As a women, I don’t trust many auto mechanism’s to be fair and honest. I must say this place is amazing. The mechanic took the time to explain, and even drew detail pictures to help me understand the problem. Price was also reasonable compared to others. Many ? thanks.Service: Transmission repair
