They pile a bunch of women and kids into one room to maximize space. There was about 12 bedrooms when I was there and I shared a room with 2 women and their kids during my stay. The shelter itself is clean and organized but I don’t understand why they make multiple women and kids share a room. I personally think they take in more families than they can house to get more funding from the government.

My husband went to get an assessment at this place, let me just tell this place is aweful, they are not confidential with information. The social submitted a false assessment so that the assessment at this place look bad.

I donate to a lot of women’s shelters but this is the only one to ONLY accept new clothes with the tag still on them. Makes me sad I have unused tagless toddler clothes by the load and no one from this charity will have access to it. I was a domestic violence survivor and I would’ve done anything for warm clothes on my kids. We didn’t care about tags. ? we are donating to morning star mission if any mom who needs 2t-3t boys girls clothes I know how it feels to leave everything behind. ? to get to safety

My ex called saying she was kicked out by a place that was suppose to help her. They gave her no phone call or nothing. She got off work & was told she had to exit the building

Wants to take children and go home there own. How bout I take your child. How would you feel. I’ve been an orphan before yet they talk like it’s ok and normal. Not here to help but destroy families. They pretend to be your friend but really be careful cause they nothing but enemy.

Greedy place. Being a non profit are you allowed to charge people for classes? $1300 for a program that can be read from a book in a few hours. Putting families in terrible financial situations for your gain. You don't actually care about the wellbeing of the family. Straight greed and terrible program. Really just empowering both perpetrator and victim to be abusive

This shelter is the most protective shelter for my first experience. Clean, organized,caring,nun judging place and helps you in every way you could ! I will definitely go back if i had to ❤️!

My wife and I have been trying to get licensed. We filled out all the necessary forms. Something came back negative on my part. They told me what to do to fix it and I did. Now I’ve been waiting, I’ve called many times and left voice messages. They call back and text once telling me they’ll call me back. I’m still waiting.If you don’t want to help just let me know and we’ll go somewhere else. But we don’t want to go anywhere else because we already did all the process with you and you have all the information. so we don’t want to start all over, but if you aren’t able to help just let us know and we’ll go somewhere else. FRUSTRATED!!!!!

they have really nice counsellors Ashley is the best she really connects with her clients in such a theraputic manner but a lot of the staff are extreamly rude i have been hanged up and refused services they definetly dont care abut the clients they are just money hungry one of the persons higher up her name is mary she hung up on me and said there was nothing that we needed to talk about after i came to her with several concerns they are so unproffessional they love to rub in your face all the bad things you have done and love to "scare" you by telling that they have reported you being disrespectful to the staff yea i was but its only because i felt i wasnt being heard they just are not very supportive please dont waste your time

They have been helping us the best way that they know how! They get donations from generous donors throughout the community and they help people with other resources, so you really have to be patient with them! This is not a homeless shelter program! They help victims of domestic violence and their families! They do their best to reach out to people in the community as much as they can but they have other referral resources through other organizations. Based on personal experience, I can tell you that I've been helped tremendously. I still have my beautiful London Fog peacoat that was donated to me brand new! Thank God they have helped my son and myself! Things are getting better gradually for us. Just taking one day at a time and not getting stressed out about matters anymore!

They are very rude and disrespectful. Money hungry company which isn’t truly concerned about the future of others. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
