“Angry Wankel exceeded our expectations in every way! A garage that actually has people who are trustworthy, professional, caring and most importantly, looking out for the customer. Allen and Chris, you two absolutely saved us! The family and I were driving to Peoria last Saturday when our alternator belt broke (12:30 pm). We called three dealerships and none of them were able to help us. As we drove back towards Bloomington, we called two independent garages and were greeted with voice mail. We then called Angry Wankel where Allen diagnosed the problem and told us they could take care of the problem. We got to the garage just as the battery died...phew. They gave us a quote and told us it would take about 30 minutes to repair. In order to save us money, Allen drove me to get the belt (it would have cost a little more if he had it delivered) while Chris worked on the vehicle. The repair took a little longer but charging us for that additional time/labor didn't even come up. Allen had quoted us a price and he stuck to it. They wanted to make sure everything was done correctly and most importantly, we would be safe driving back to Champaign. A lot of things could have gone wrong but Allen and Chris took a bad situation and completely turned it around and made it a positive experience. It may sound crazy but I will drive to Bloomington to have my car serviced by Angry Wankel simply because I can trust that they will do the job right and will not take advantage of me. We need more people like Allen and Chris in this world! Hard working, trusting, caring individuals making an effort to help others, not exploit them when their vehicle breaks down or needs service! “I had so much glass in the front area of my car due to vandalism with a large piece of cement block that was thrown through my window. Caliber cleaned it very good. They kept me informed of the process on my car. My car was done when promised. I have a few issues with the passenger side door not locking, have to lock it manually. A few areas on inside of door needs touched up, missing paint. Otherwise, Caliber did a great job! I am positive they will fix the door and the paint chips. I am satisfied, just want the two issues fixed.”

I call Ed around for a quote without any results unless imI bring my vehicle in for further inspection ( more money) When I got ahold of 309 Auto, I was given my quote. I was geeked it was way cheaper than I thought. I’m not from here and wanna go home. It was 4 pm I asked l could they get it in ti the next day. He said if you can get it here by 5 I can do it today. I googled directions. The shoo was 5 mins from me. I got there and as they fixed what I thought was the problem my coolant line was spit. Another $120 I was short on cash and he worked with me and got me back on the road now I can head home in the morning. Definitely good hard working and fair man. “I got into a fender bender in my family's brand new minivan a couple months after we got it (February 2020). It wasn't a huge accident, but the entire back of the car needed to be replaced. Bob Zook was so quick to get us in and get us our car back (we needed all the space we could get for our car seats.) The service, communication and experience was a 10/10.Fast forward about two years later, and we noticed the "Odyssey" emblem was missing from the hatch. I just assumed they forgot to put it back on when they fixed the back of the van. I really didn't pay much attention to it, but I asked about replacing it at the dealership and it was going to cost a ridiculous amount of money for a silver emblem. I called Bob Zook, explained that they serviced my vehicle a couple years prior, and without hesitation, he ordered the part and asked me to come in any time to get it replaced. I thanked him up and down, and in turn, he thanked ME for bringing it to their attention. He said if they forgot to put it back on, it was their responsibility to replace it. The entire process took 15 minutes out of my day.I am blown away by the customer service provided. They could have easily written us off, but instead went above and beyond to get something small fixed for us. The owner himself took my car to the back and drove it out front when it was finished. “I traveled all the way from Alabama to Illinois to pick up my 2016 GMC Sierra Denali. Truck was as described and appeared to be in excellent shape. Transaction went smoothly and I was about to leave when I noticed a water leak at the front of the headliner. Originally thought it was the roof molding....so it was 3M glued it until I could get it home to get it replaced. Once home I had the roof molding replaced at my local Chevy dealer...but this did not eliminate the leak. After further diagnosis, the leak turned out to be the roof antenna (common issue on this model). Shared all this with the salesman Dylan Harmon, in order to be reimbursed as we had previously agreed to (verbally and in writing) and got nothing but the runaround. Escalated this to the gm, Skip Harmon, and he handled it immediately.
