Dr. Hoyt is an amazing veterinarian who always provides exceptional care for my kitty during her yearly exams. She’s thorough, compassionate, and makes sure my Billie girl is completely comfortable. We love ACC of Homer Glen! The entire staff is friendly and helpful and if you need an urgent appointment they do their best to get you in right away to take care of your beloved pet. Dr. Summerville is so nice and helpful and informative.

I have been going here for many years with no issues prior. I recently adopted a new cat and brought her in for a check up to review a few concerns I had. The vet did not even examine my cat, or listen to my concerns, seemed in a rush and wanted to shorten the appointment as much as possible. I was told my cat was too scared to be examined and needed to be medicated before vet visits. (My cat is very docile, scared at the vet, but not anything out of the ordinary).
I ended up bringing her to another vet and spending another $100-150 to have them actually examine and treat the issues. I do appreciate the friendly staff at the front desk. But will not be returning.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the entire staff, with special acknowledgment to Dr. Hoyt. Since relocating to the area, I have consistently brought my pets to this facility and have always had a positive experience. The front desk staff is courteous and adept at scheduling appointments that fit my demanding schedule. The veterinary technicians are both personable and compassionate. Dr. Hoyt, in particular, is exceptionally responsive and provides thorough answers to all inquiries. This has been, without a doubt, the most outstanding experience I have ever had with a veterinary office.

I do not recommend this clinic. Dr. Endebak prescribed Mometemax for my senior dog's double ear infection and did not tell me that it can cause deafness in geriatric dogs nor did she give me the option of Claro, which does not cause deafness and which Dr. Hoyt prescribed last year for my dog. If she had, I would have chosen Claro which my dog tolerated well. My dog is now deaf. Dr. Endebak now claims that she did give me the option, which is untrue. And the office manager also agrees that I was given the option because "all doctors do that". The fact that she cannot admit that she did not offer this alternative, and cannot apologize, is infuriating and unprofessional. I am ending my 30 year relationship with Animal Care Clinic.
