Stolen packages, fake amenities, and a passive aggressive management team who could care less about the state of the property or people. Looks can be deceiving. Save money and a headache moving elsewhere

They give you parking tags to hang in your car and if you one day accidentally forget to put the tag on , they tow your car with no warning or notification even if the car is registered with them. My car was towed two times the last few months. I thought the point was to prevent unauthorized vehicles from parking in the lot but apparently it's all about money. They don't care about their residents. I've lived here for almost 4 years and now I can't wait to get out of here when the lease is over. New management sucks!!!

Safe neighborhood, police and fire departments a quarter mile away and a hospital a mile away. 2 bus stops right outside that go to the Blue and Green lines, plus the Blue line is a mile away to get downtown. 3 grocery stores within walking distance with every restaurant imaginable on Harlem plus a shopping mall about a mile away. The building has a nice fitness center and laundry room in the basement. Apartments facing the south get a view of the skyline and lots of sun in the winter, so I’d recommend that side if given the choice.

We've been living at MontClare apts for two years and we feel that the latest management change has been very positive for us and the community as a whole. We are very satisfied with the response to service requests and quality of life improvements,such as better lighting in the common areas and enforment of no smoking rules. Also our rent increase has been affordable as compared to other apartment complexes in the area.

This is a great place to live! It is really clean and organized! I love the different places in the building. The gym is my favorite.

Anytime I had a question or an issue the leasing and maintenance staff were always glad to help. Everything would be taken care of almost immediately. No trickery just honest customer service.

Literally had a competition you could enter by leaving a 5 star review, so you can safely ignore the score they have as inaccurate.It also goes in the face of review site rules, so all the fake reviews will be reported and removed anyway.

Hello and welcome. Living here at Mont Clare for almost 2 years has been an amazing experience. The staff is so polite and professional. If you ever need anything at any time they are there to help immediately. You will not regret moving here. Welcome Home !!

There were reviews in the past about people getting stuck in the elevator, and then today I was stuck in the elevator for half an hour. Such a traumatizing experience. In addition, there are tons of smokers in this non-smoking building, and a lot of them are constantly smoking cigs and green in here causing asthma attacks. Along with the whole laundry list of other problems. Was forced to take these down but the world must know the truth! EDIT: do not trust all the new 5 star reviews, they are bribing people with a flat screen TV giveaway!!!****

I just moved into this apartment recently and I can definitely say it is quite amazing! Tiara made the whole process from showing me the tour of the apartment to moving in extremely easy! She was very communicative as I had many questions and she answered every single of them thoroughly and has made my life easier! I would definitely recommend anyone to live here and to reach out to Tiara as she was amazing!

I have LOVED my time at the Mont Clare since I moved in in December of 2020, and it’s only gotten better now that Village Green is managing the property!As soon as Village Green took over, they immediately took the time to build relationships with tenants, request feedback for potential improvements, improve social media pages, increase building safety, and showcase all that the Mont Clare has to offer. Tiara and Grant have been AMAZING since day one.As soon as they took over, Grant was able to sit with me and review my lease (which was left incomplete due to past management issues), and has always taken the time to say hello every time that I’ve seen him since. Tiara is a literal ANGEL - not only has she greeted me with kindness every time we see each other, but she even took the time to personally bring my packages to me while I was sick with COVID. She has also made countless efforts to plan events and contests for tenants, and has also made huge strides to not only advertise the Mont Clare to the community, but also to advertise small businesses and community events to tenants! The maintenance team is amazing, I never have to wait more than a day for a work order to be complete. Huge change from prior management when it would take up to a week to have things fixed!I always recommend the Mont Clare to my friends and family, and I am so grateful to be a tenant here. If you’re looking for a new place to live, look no further. You’re in great hands with Village Green, especially under the leadership of Grant and Tiara!

Recently moved in to this building on the first and I LOVE it! Miguel, sales consultant was awesome he helped me out throughout the whole process and continued to follow up with me to make sure I was happy with the apartment? awesome building, great amenities, great prices! Overall great team in the office and maintenance team works really fast and efficient!
