I scheduled a hair cut appointment over 10 days ago with a hairstylist name Wendy, based on positive reviews. On my way there, I called saying I was on my way. To my surprise, the person that answered the phone informed me Wendy was not there today. She confirmed my name, phone number and appointment time. Mind you, I live in Des Plaine and came all the way to Harwood Heights for this appointment with Wendy at Colours. I was shocked and in disbelief. No phone call, no text, nothing at all. I asked if someone else could take care of me, since I have an important job interview next Friday and need a hair cut. she said "oh no!! We are about to close now". it was 4pm and the salon hours states open until 8:00pm. I'm extremely disappointed, let down and feel like my business is not appreciated. Terrible service

I’ve been a client of Susie at Colours for over 19 years. Before that, my longest stylist lasted 1 year. That speaks volumes. Beautiful salon, amazing staff and Susie well, I’ll never leave her!!

I have been going here for years. Rosanne takes good care of me and my hair through the years. I definitely would recommend Colours. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting.

No point to be open until 8.00 if you literally close the door at customer's face before 6.30Oh and no chance to make an appointment either. Somewhere else recommended for sense of customer service.

Wendy is fabulous! She does a spectacular job coloring, cutting and styling hair. I'd give 5 stars to this salon if Tina, one of the people who washes hair, etc. wasn't so terribly rude.

I've been coming here for the past few years and everyone does a good job. I got a root touch up for $60 and haircut for $30. Susie did my hair this time and the color was nice and I got layers but I asked if a blow dry was extra and she said it's included if you get a haircut so I was like okay but she dried it with her hands as opposed to a hairbrush so it left my hair frizzy and she didn't show me my haircut when she was done. She just took off my apron and said all done. No serum in my hair, nothing. So I left with damp frizzy hair. She's a little rough around the edges. She did everything fast a little careless. Next time I will ask for another hairdresser.

I explained the color I wanted and showed a picture. She did a horrible job and the color was horrible. Called her to fix it and I went in a 2nd time just to have her put toner on it that washed out 3 days later and I was back to the horrible color. She told me to come back that she would put toner again and leave it in longer..no way!!! I went to another salon and now have a new hair dresser. I highly recommend you go else where.The top picture was the disaster from colours salon. The bottom was after new hairdresser from another salon fixed it.
