We have been taking our dog, Shar here for ten years and she loves going here. We have done obedience and agility classes here. The day camp and boarding is awesome. It's her home away from home.

Another money hungry business that prioritizes "our family" (pets) over profit. I needed to book the suite for a trip in advance and they wanted a grand total of $400 deposit. I told them my uncle and my dad were both in the hospital again and that I may need to cancel the trip if anything happened. I asked if they can't refund can they just give me credit for a later day? They said no. I canceled my trip and sure enough, my uncle passed. We have been with them for years and they treat us this way. We have paid them 1000s in birthday parties & boarding over the years but the one time we ask them to be courteous...how dare we? It's not like we asked for a freebee. We asked them to not take our money if our loved one passed and they wanted to make money of that. No morals!!!!!

They may be expensive for an extended stay but they sure do a wonderful job. My two dogs have spent many days there while my wife and I travel. We get the suites for both, the higher end packages, and grooming (that is why it is expensive). We get them groomed too. Both of my dogs are rescues, but one in particular is wary of people as he was abused previously. Kountry Pet Resort knows how to treat him and learn his behaviors to make his stay as stress free as possible. Bowser and Augie will always be back. Thank you for all you do!

They did an amazing job of taking care of my guinea pigs. I could really tell that they all enjoyed their jobs and truly cared for the animals

We’ve used this place twice. One for a short term (3 or 4 days) and once recently for a 2 week stay.
The facility is lovely and everything went super smoothly for the short stay. Staff is friendly.
After picking our dog up from the two week stay- I’m a bit worried.
Our 55 lb dog- her perfect weight- came back to us at 47 lbs. She had some other signs of stress- dry nose, limp (not too worrying for an active dog that likes to play), and was super lethargic/tired.
Most dogs are overweight. Most dog people overfeed, it’s easy to do. Our dog is short haired and slender. Losing 7-8 lbs on a dog like this is not hard to see. I’m not sure how it escaped the whole team’s notice. Her hip bones and ribs were visible.
Some dogs are just stressed when out of their environment. When I adopted this dog, I was working at a dog day care in Seattle (which is why I don’t love writing this review). For 1.5 years I brought my dog to daycare. She’s been boarded multiple times at 3 different facilities. It could have been the length of time. But it just seems unlikely to me.
In a nutshell-
For short stays fine. For longer stays, I just won’t feel safe or good about coming here again. If you are going to use this place for a long stay- maybe just bring your own food and tell them to give them more than what they get at home.

We have found this place to be wonderful and our dogs think so too!! Harley and Joker get very excited when we ask them if they’re going to “school,” meaning a day of play, or “summer camp,” when we board them while on vacation. I highly recommend KPR. The staff is wonderful!

My dog and I had a terrible experience at this place. After six days in a row of daycare (6/12-6/19), my dog got a scratch on the leg, started sneezing, and the skin of the paw pad peeled off. She’s an Australian Shepherd, which means super energetic and active, always herding and things happen. However, everytime I picked her up, they DID NOT SAY A SINGLE WORD of what happened during playtime. After calling them to ask what caused that scratch on her leg, their only excuse was that she’s a herding breed and she somehow got into the accident. THANK YOU but I expected an open communication and some sort of explanations at the time of pick up. Looks like they hoped I wouldn't notice my dog licking the leg.
I would like to bring to your attention that besides poor communication, they hire untrained staff who neglect dogs’ individual behaviors. Yesterday, on June 19th, I requested to grind my dog’s nails and shave out the hair between the paw pads. When I picked up my dog, I noticed she was limping on her front right leg as we were heading to the car, and when she sat down, she was raising that same leg. When I took a closer look, I saw that the skin of the pad was ripped off. After calling the facility, they confirmed that the manager that was doing it, (why was the manager doing it?) injured the paw pad either by the grind or shaving machine. Yet again, they haven’t told me anything at the time of pick up about this situation. How awful they are to not tell me ANYTHING!!! I acknowledge that not all dogs are perfect, and not everyone will sit still during the procedure, but I was a phone call away, and it was so simple to report that the dog won’t let them do it safely. It’s official that a groomer can refuse to groom a dog if they feel it’s dangerous for the dog or themselves. What kind of “daycare” is it if you have to take the dog to the ER after that. The good thing is they requested an ER invoice so they can reimburse. At the ER, we were told that in the paw pad situation, there’s nothing really they can do, and it will heal on its own. So, awful Kountry Pet Resort, be glad you won’t pay anything for what you’ve done. Moreover, this injury has caused my dog to be lethargic and unhappy, and forced me to cancel all the agility and swimming sessions.
The fact that they have untrained staff, didn’t call me during the procedure, and didn’t say anything about what happened just makes me furious.Kountry Pet Resort truly seems like a place where they don’t care at all about pets.

Owner was rude and incompetent so I left. Take your pet somewhere else. Their refund policy is ridiculous. They don't even refund if there is a medical emergency.

Take our dog every time we go on vacation. I do wish they had cameras so we can see the dog play outside.

I really can’t remember if I already left a review of this wonderful establishment; but it’s worth another if I did. My wife and I have a spoiled American Bully with an extremely gentle demeanor and this place is so kind to her! We utilize them for - day care, occasional overnight stays and training. The care, cleanliness and love for the animals is the best you can find anywhere! We have only praise and gratitude for their work.
