I came to this walgrens two times in the past week and it was lucky I had patience both times. Both times the items were rung up incorrectly. First time it took over 10 minutes to get it correctly. Second time was a little better. The sad thing everyone in line in front of me had similar issues. I didn't get a good explanation of why every other walgrens the register priced it correctly. I have bought this item at over 20 Walgreens even in other states and they get it right.

We have been customers of Parkway Drugs (now Walgreens) in Glencoe for more than 50 years. When the store was sold to Walgreens 5+ years ago, things stayed about the same. Not any more. The list of things wrong in the past few weeks (prescriptions misfilled, multiple scripts lost, improper instructions, long waits and more) cane to a head today. I attempted to return a script that was improperly filled due to technician error. They tried to blame the error on the doctor, which was absurd as we had specifically explained the details to the technician (the same one who lost a script last week). We went over the mistake in detail with the manager. While I understand why they can not take back drugs, and the $36 I was out of pocket isn't huge, the attitude to a long time customer was inexcusable. With all the other issues recently i would urge people to avoid this store. Try the Walgreen's in Winnetka - the people are nice and the service is excellent.

Registered in advance for a vaccine. When I arrived, instead of a smooth check in, the technician argued with me about my address. Overheard the pharmacist arguing with other customers and complaining under their breath. Not sure what the deal is. Will try a different location next time.

Terrible service, called for prescription refill and still not ready 3 hours later, no communication regarding cause for the delay. Long line , most people have long waiting times as well.

Fantastic service. They know that everyone is having a difficult time now and they are still friendly, professional and very service oriented. Thank you, Parkway Drugs (Walgreens). Nancy is phenomenal. I called yesterday and she was very helpful. Today, Nhyng helped me and was very accommodating to my needs. Pleasant, a smile and professional. They all seem to go above and beyond whenever we visit and in these trying times, that makes all the difference. **You're all to be commended for your service to the village. Thank You!

It is just the place to be man. You ask for dart makings, they give you dart makings. You want candy, you get candy. It is the most high end pharmacy in the history of the world.

Great that it has retained the local small suburb feel even with the big corporate ownership. I still call it Parkway. The pharmacists are the best. Friendly helpful staff in general. Good card section. Only complaint is later opening hours.

Not what I expected. When I did a search for a local Walgreen's it came up. I was surprised that it was just a pharmacy with a small amount of support stock. It was very quaint, as everyone seemed to know everyone else. It was not an in and out shopping experience, rather more of a gathering place for the locals. I had to wait a short time for a cashier to show up and ring me out. Defiantly old school.

I go there from time to time and it's no thing extraordinary but you go there to recive medications, beauty products or mini-mart items. That's exactly what they give you.

I miss the Parkway pharmacy, but this is still a great freindly place to get your drugs.
