Customer service in the service department is amazing Louie the service writer really cares and honestly it's refreshing to have someone always follow up with you even after the work is done. Love the texting option they offer to stay in touch

brought my tahoe in with a small coolant leak in the rear vehicle heater. well they charged me over $600 to fix it, but instead plugged it off and now I have no rear heat. Brought it back a second time because the brake lights stopped working, they called and asked to replace the fuel injector wiring. So now I am out over $1800 still have not heat, and they can't tell me why the brake lights don't work. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR, TAKE A CAR FOR SERVICE OR RECOMMEND THIS CRAPPY DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE.Worst part was they texted me to say my tahoe was ready, when they didn't finish the requested repairs.

I brought my vehicle in to be serviced for a check engine light. I was told that they weren't exactly sure what it was but recommended changing the spark plugs, getting an oil change, and replacing the cabin air filter. I had the work completed with the exception of the cabin air filter ($100 for the diagnosis and $507 for spark plugs and oil change....), and they told me that the check engine light had been reset and to bring it in if it went back on. Meanwhile, I received an email trying to entice me to sell my car back to them, offering me a check for 5% of my service bill on the spot to have it appraised. Since I was looking for a new vehicle anyway, I had them take a look at it and they told me they would give me $2K for it. Since Ray didn't have a vehicle that would fit my needs, I decided to wait on selling the car back, and paid my $600 service bill for what I was led to believe were the check engine issues. I never did get the 5% check from them, but decided to let it go. A week later, I decided to take it back and accept their $2K offer for the car...but when I got there to go through the process, I was told that the INITIAL price they could offer me was $2K but that it would need to be inspected for issues and it could reduce the value. This was only one week after bringing it in to have the check engine light taken care of, and a $600 service bill for what they deemed to be the issue with the check engine light. Their "inspection" reduced the price they were offering me for the car now to $1K, telling me that they simply reset the engine light and didn't really address the issues with the car. In the end I ended up selling the car to someone else, but I feel like Ray Chevy was not upfront with me about neither the vehicle service nor the appraisal, and I'd have a hard time going back to give them more business. We have bought every one of our prior vehicles from Ray, but I feel like it's changed and not for the better. I gave 2 stars because the guy who was helping us look for a vehicle to purchase was nice and didn't try to sell us something we didn't want. So there's that.

I took my truck here last week to get an oil change. Normally I go to my mechanic but I needed one done and it was just closer and more convenient for me to come here. The oil change took two hours & I called to ask if they were backed up past an hour when I scheduled and the front desk told me no. They did not charge me for my oil change which was really nice considering the time I spent there. However they did tell me that my truck had over 5300 dollars worth of repairs that needed "immediate attention". I was upset because the last thing anyone wants is to dump money into your car when you least expect it. I took it to my mechanic that is trustworthy and has done great, honest work for my family for over 10 years. My Mechanic called me today after looking over the list of everything the dealership said was wrong with my truck and there was not one issue. Everything ray chevy said was dishonest and trying to get me to pay and purchase parts that didn't need replacing. I would never recommend doing service to your vehicle based on only this dealerships recommendation. I am a woman but I know when a man is being dishonest. I feel like they tried to take advantage and profit off of the fact that I was a woman and "wouldn't know any better".

I was going to sell my 2016 Silverado HD to Ray Chevy and got a hard value from KBB and was told all I had to do was show up at the dealership with my title and my truck cleaned out. I arrive and some lackey starts doing another KBB evaluation which of course ends up being 2k lower than my previous eval. Then I am about to leave because I won't waste my time with scheisters and the head clown at the sales counter chases me outside and says my truck isn't appealing to customers BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A SERVICE HISTORY WITH THE STEALERSHIP. Why do I need to do anything with them outside of a warranty issue? My truck was in PERFECT condition and had less than 30k miles. NO DENTS, CHIPS.....LOOKED AS NEW. You will never get a fair shake from a dealer. BTW, I had purchased the truck from them. How's that for treatment? I ended up selling to Carvana and got 4k more than the KBB price and they were happy to have my truck and the whole process took 20 min.

I had been looking for a '22 Trail Boss everywhere here in Texas but the prices are insane! I finally did nationwide search and found these guys. I first spoke with Oliver and he gave me a great deal, he handed me over to Justin W. and he kept in contact with me at all times! From all the way down here in Texas I really thank you all for the help and purchase of this truck. Only bad thing about it is that I can't drive in and get my truck maintenance there. If I'd buy another truck I'll definitely go there again.

I recently decided to order a new blazer from Ray Chevy in Fox Lake, IL site unseen. I worked with Gabe Crump on the order and trade in. He was very professional. He talked me through the different options and colors and I placed the order. I had to take a trip from northern Wisconsin to IL this week so called Gabe to see if they had any on the lot I could test drive. They had a new blazer RS. I ordered a blazer premier. I took time to stop at the dealership and Gabe took the time to walk me through all of the features of the blazer. I didn't realize it would have all the different options from stereo to a 360 view camera and so on. I was thrilled with my order. I asked to make one slight change to add a sunroof. Even though the order was already placed, the dealership took care of adding it to the order. Now I just have to wait for it to come in.

After visiting 6 dealerships with my daughter looking for a quality used car and having terrible experiences, Ray Chevrolet was a refreshing change! A friend had told me they were different, no hidden fees or gimmicks and they were right! Alex had the car we went to see pulled up and running when we arrived. He provided the car fax and inspection report on the car. He supplied the trade in value of the old car and struck a deal with us with no back and forth we had been through at other dealerships. Ray Jr and Alex were so pleasant to do business with and I recommend them to anyone who wants a no hassle, honest experience.

They gave me a loaner car years ago with a broken windshield and came back when they repaired my car. Then tried to sue me for 400 dollars for a replacement window. They are crooks. Employees clearly don't do any inspection. Also came to sell my vehicle too then and got an offer for a good amount. Go too take it in and these scumbags try to buy my vehicle for 2k after it was appraised for 9-11k. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING. Snakes
