Paid $44.49 at Lamar's for my 3yr old's Halloween costume to be hemmed 2 inches and steamed. Brought it last Saturday and was guaranteed for it to be ready for Friday, Oct18. My husband and daughter go together for pick-up. They explained to my husband to give him 2-3 hours and he was confused. The ticket that is paid for says, Friday for pickup. This is Saturday morning them picking up the costume. My husband waited in his car with our daughter for 30 mins for them to "RUSH" her costume out that we need today for two school events. Me an upset mother, calls them over the phone. The best Leo can do is was give us $10 off our next dry cleaning. I wanted them to at the very least comp us something for this dress because I know asking for a refund was out of the question. He said he couldn't give us $15 or $20 off because of the work already placed on the item. NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN!!! Ridiculous!!

Another clothing ruined by them. I had brought a lot of items to get cleaned. Almost every clothing that I had brought was ruined or not washed correctly. They just give it to you but when you actually look at it something is always wrong. They ruined my brand new Jordan shorts which cost me a lot of money. They didn’t tell me about it. So maby 2 weeks after I realized when I put them on my second time. What a suprise they took out the string from them so I took it back so they can fix them and it took them almost 2 months. What a disappointment. Than I took my jeans either they broken the zipper or bottoms on few of them. My brand new dress they just iron it did t take out the stains .same with my sweaters dirty. Please do not take you clothes there they will ruin them and than all these expensive clothes you have to throw away because they are ruined. And every time I will tell them they don’t even apologize they just say they don’t know what to tell me.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER..THIS WAS MY GO TO CLEANERS WHENEVER I NEEDED DRY CLEANING NOT ANY MORE.I TOOK A PAIR OF PANTS THAT HAS SEVERAL BUTTONS I WAS CONCERN ABOUT THE BUTTONS BEING DAMAGED OR MISSING ON THEM SO I ASK BEFORE LEAVING THEM OF I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE OKAY, ABSOLUTELY NOT RETURNED TO PICK THEM UP THE FIRST THING I CHECKED FOR WAS THE BUTTONS, YES THEY WERE ALL THERE BUT EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS HANGING ABOUT TO FALL OFF I ASK IF THEY WOULD FIX THEM I WAS YES $ 2.00 PER BUTTON. I HAVE TO PAY FOR WHAT THEY DAMAGED. I WAS TOLD THE BUTTONS ARE LIKE THAT BECAUSE YOUR PANTS ARE OLD. NEW PAIR OF PANTS ONLY WORN ONCE. SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER HE WANTED TO DISCUSS WITH ME THE DIFFERENT COUNTRY WHERE CLOTHING IS MADE THE FABRIC WHAT HIS COUSIN DOES FOR A LIVING REGARDING THE DIFFERENT STORES AND MANUFACTURERS. SIR IDON'T NEED TO HEAR ALL THIS THEY ALSO DAMAGED MY BEAUTIFUL LONG SWEATER LOOK LIKE THEY PRESSED OR STRETCHED IT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED BUT THEY HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT DRY CLEANING. I RATHER PAY MORE TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF MY CLOTHE. TRYING TO LECTURE ME ON RETAILERS TAKE A CLASS FOR YOURSELF ON HOW TO DRY CLEAN (SIR). NEVER AGAIN

The WORST experience EVER!!! I took my daughters quinceañera dress in to get cleaned and they told me it'd be ready in one week. A week later I called and they said it'd be another week and they would call me when it was ready. I waited two weeks and then called them myself to see if it was ready and the teenager who answered the phone was very unprofessional (assuming she's not experienced in dealing with customers) answers "Hello?" as if she was answering her home phone. I asked is this Lamar Cleaners? And she replied yes? OK so I ask for my dress and she puts me on hold for like 10 minutes, comes back and says she can't get ahold of the owner so she'll have to called back in 30 minutes. There was no call of course so I drive there and again it is two young girls working the counter, they look puzzled and confused. Luckily I had my ticket with the information and they frantically Starr making calls and talking amongst themselves in secret. Finally one of them brings me her personal cell phone with the "owner" on speaker he then proceeds to lie to me and tells me they tried calling me (which NO THEY DIDN'T) but I didn't answer and they tried cleaning it but the stains wouldn't come off so he needs me to sign a for allowing them to further clean the dress. Mind you this is over the young girls speaker phone, I told him he DID not try to call me because I can verify my call logs with my phone company and that I wanted my money and my dress back. He starts arguing with me about how he's not in the office enough and he didn't know what was going, that they can't get stains out, so why is he in the dry cleaning business? Why do they have signs stating they can clean wedding dresses and restore them? Why are they so unprofessional and not give me a call regarding the status on my dress? Why isn't he man enough to treat his clients with respect? If you can't do your job as a dry cleaning company please give your clients the courtesy of letting them know the job is too big for them and they cant handle more than a blouse. Luckily he agreed to give me my money back and my dess which by the way they handed it to me like trash, didn't put it in a bag like I had originally brought in and OBVIOUSLY the dress had ZERO work done on it!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I took my daughters quinceañera dress in for cleaning, they told me it'd be ready in one week, I call a week later and they tell me it'd be another week but they'll call me when it was ready. Two weeks later I CALL THEM and the girl who answers the phone answers as if she was answering her home phone. "Hello?" I ask "Is this Lamar Cleaners?" Dhe says "yes?" OK so I ask about the dress, she puts me on hold and after almost ten minutes she tells me she can't get ahold of the owner that she'll call me back in 30 minutes. Of course 30 minutes later no call so I decided to go in person. When I get there, there are two very young girls working the front counter who clearly have to experience with customer service and look puzzled. They are frantically looking throughout the cleaners for my dress, making phone calls, secretly whispering to each other and after about 15 minutes one of them brings her personal cell phone over on speaker and has me speak to "the owner" I have to raise voice to speak to this man over the speaker bc he's not man enough to call me himself as a business owner and take responsibility. He then lies to me and tells me they tried to call me but I didn't answer which is NOT TRUE because I can prove through cell phone records with my cell phone company that they NEVER called. He tells me they couldn't get somecstains out so I'd have to sign a form in order for them to eork on it more. I obviously say "No I want my money and my dress back" and he continues arguing with me telling me he's hardly in the office and doesn't know what happened. As a business owner you should have respect, loyalty, honesty and responsibility to let clients know before they drop clothes off that you are not equipped or ready to handle big jobs. If you can only clean a simple blouse please don't claim to "clean and restore wedding dresses" because you are not even capable of honesty with your clients. Train your staff to handle clients with respect and knowledgeable on how to at least answer a business call. I finally got my dress and my money back. They gave me dress back like garbage, I took it in a bag and they handed it to me wrinkled and dirty because of course THEY NEVER CLEANED IT.
