I am actually surprised they have 3 stars..I came on Saturday to open a Business Checking Account. It makes sense that people would go on a Saturday just like me, considering their working hours during the week, and that we also have to be at work at those hours.What was the problem though, was that there were 3 employees just sitting around and doing nothing for 20 min while we waited, and then they came to ask us what we need. A fourth person had passed by us and could have also told as that there isn’t a business banker available on Saturdays - any Saturday that is.In case you are nostalgic about 1980s decor, this is the branch for you.

Horrible customer service and management.After waiting half an hour to talk to the personal banker, they told us we need to make an appointment.And few staff in the back just walking and do nothing.Only one personal banker working.

This location may have nice people but their customer service is awful. The hours aren't conducive for those who work and get off at 4pm as they changed their hours due to Covid. As far as I'm concerned they should've left well enough alone and stuck with safety guidelines. Also during lunch they should have one person at the the service counter and one manager not everyone goes on lunch and shuts down the place when the hours are limited as it is. I'll still do business there but they need to work on getting back to personal services and not calling customers transactions.

Amazing customer service! Michael and Fausto were both above and beyond duty. They both stepped in and helped us out when we were in need of notary services. Both were very gracious and friendly and knowledgeable. We have been with Citibank for over 30 years And would highly recommend them!

Since when has the Elk Grove branch of Citibank closing for lunch. I tried to conduct some business there and was refused entry into the bank. I was told to come back in a half hour if I needed something. The branches hours are posted as 10:00AM - 4:00PM, there is no mention of the bank closing from 1:00 - 1:30 for lunch. Citibank has been my bank since 1987 and I have a Goldcard, no more I will be looking for a new bank.

A refundable trip I had planned was cancelled, and the site I booked through refused to offer refunds, instead saying to dispute to my credit card. I filed a dispute and was denied by Citi. Citi is supposed to offer protection against such issues, but has refused to help in any way. Up until this point I was very happy with Citi, but due to their poor customer service and lack of customer loyalty, I plan to take my credit card business elsewhere.

Security was called on me while I was at the ATM withdrawing from my account, while wearing a mask. Didn't even go through the doors past the ATMs and security was at the door before I left. That's the supervisor company vehicle parked in front of Citibank, both were in uniform. Racism? Or a bank not setup to handle the future?

Came in here during my lunch break to be seen by a banker waited 40 minutes while to bankers were standing around talking to not be attended to. I can't imagine that being convenient for banking customers.

The star rating is really just for Citibank in general. When I first joined my wife's account in 2005, I was happy with Citibank. We had rewards on our checking account, no fees, and there were other services offered such as coin counting. Fast forward to 2018, no rewards on the checking, if you do not meet certain criteria, they want to charge just to have an account, and now they are doing away with coin counting. Isn't money, money. Coins are no longer considered currency at this bank. I think it's time I go back to MY bank. One that's not too big for the common folk.
