As a puertorican, I was excited to know about a place closer to home with some of my stuff that is not all the way to Chicago. Last year and also this summer was ok. I found pasteles, sofrito, pan sobao, galletas bimbo, empanadillas, and other things. This last time I went on a Saturday morning, there was no pan sobao, no sofrito, and no pasteles, and all the bimbo cookies were more than a month passed the expiration date. The place is basically to buy a few things not to do your whole grocery shopping as they are a little pricey.

I love this place! I go there for all of the bakery goodies ? especially the Sweet bread!! The meat dept has many choices as well! Great staff!

This is a great place to shop since I have a Mexican father, and his girlfriend is Puerto Rican. I love everything they sell there, the atmosphere is great and has very friendly workers. This place deserves more recognition!

Customer service is great! The owners always make you feel welcomed. They make awesome authentic Puerto Rican pasteles that taste great!They sell Puerto Rican bread that’s baked there daily. The meat is very fresh as well. I like that they incorporate Puerto Rican and Mexican products.Oh yeah, the bakery shop always has fresh goods, not to mention the carnitas and authentic Mexican cooked food that they sell. Sometimes you don’t have time to cook dinner. I definitely recommend this grocery store?

I have gone a few times and they are great in a pinch. Highly recommend checking food for expiration unfortunately a few trips ended up going elsewhere due to food to this.
