They went out of their way to help me and my family! Had car trouble randomly on our road trip. We were hours from home and hours from where we needed to be, and they fit me right in! Helped get me on the road in a few hours! TV for the kids and hands down the best customer service! Can't say thank you enough!

My husband and I were stranded in Effingham over New Year's with a broken drive shaft on our vehicle. We waited for Effingham Auto to open after the holiday. Marlin the owner is absolutely just the best! He greeted us with kindness, took care of us upon arrival, & his team took care of our vehicle in a couple of hours. They got us an amazing price and we are so grateful! We highly recommend going here for your auto needs and if we are driving through Effingham again and need anything done on our vehicle we will be back. Thank you so much Marlin for an amazing experience at your family shop and for continuing what you & your wife had started. Your hospitality was refreshing and we need more people like you in the world!

I take my car there and in five minutes after they had it they called with five to six things that was wrong with it was kind of funny the first thing was something I had got fix six months earlier and was tell that it next to be fix right away. I guess since I a lady they could pull the wool over my eyes I am not that dumb… beware if you’re a lady they’ll try to take you for whatever they can

On the last stretch of a cross-country road trip, we found ourselves broken down in Effingham on a Sunday evening. On Monday morning, we called Effingham Auto to see if they'd be able to help us out, and they said yes. After having the car towed to their shop, we were quickly assisted and went to go wait nearby. They had us taken care of that same day, and at a very reasonable cost! So happy and grateful to the great folks at Effingham Auto!

We were driving on a road trip when our van began overheating. We called and they said they had availability- fixed our issue and we were back on the road in less than 2 hours! They were angels in disguise for us today!!

My son wanted to cut the resonator and muffler off his car. The folks at Effingham Auto wanted to talk to him personally and suggested he only remove the muffler and then decide whether he wants to do more. They did the work and I inspected it later. The pipe replacement, bending, and welding were all top notch and I would highly recommend them to do the work. they were professional and courteous throughout the entire process. Highly recommended!

The majority of these reviews are from workers and their families or just fake accounts. Place is Absolute garbage. Not only do they overcharge you, $40 for a 5min diagnosis but they mess up your vehicle even worse. Had to pay $180 for an alignment just to realize less than 3blocks down the road it was even worse. They couldn't fix it that week so I took it else where to be looked at and there were whole nut's missing from my front end suspension. I've had multiple issues with this company throughout the years and continued dealing with them out of familial loyaly and completely regret it. Life savers! Bad battery sucked the life from my alternator. They found both replacements and installed in time for us to make to our destination in MIssouri. Fantastic folks! Highly recommended!
