There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful this place is. My husband and I came here to celebrate us getting married and we could not have been happier. We didn’t know what to expect when we got there but it was perfect. We got the Classic whirlpool suite, everything was clean, set up beautifully, and so comfy!! Kyle at the front desk was extremely welcoming and quick to get us checked in. When leaving, the manager was amazing and so helpful. We will definitely be back… no doubt about it!

My husband and I wanted to have an overnight stay to celebrate our first anniversary. We usually go to the Northbrook location but they were booked up around that time. The Downers Grove location gave motel vibes when we pulled up. Fancy motel, but motel none the less. I prefer the hidden away setup Northbrook has, with each unit having its own driveway. The first thing I noticed when we got there was that the massage chair had a "drip" like stain on it. I called the front desk immediately to let them know and they said they would send someone over to clean it. They came fairly quickly but it meant we had to wait to fully settle in and get comfortable and when they arrived (yes, 2 men to clean 1 chair) it felt a little awkward. They weren't able to get the stain removed, and i watched him thoroughly scrub the seat, but needless to say we definitely weren't going to be using that chair. The pool at this location looks smaller and doesn't have have the attached hot tub as Northbrook, but they charge the same price. Northbrook's setup is extremely easy to use. We usually start by syncing up our phones for music and we can sign into our streaming services, like Netflix. This location made it so difficult. We couldn't figure out how to connect our music so we were left just trying to find the best radio station or playing it straight from our phones speakers. I called the frontdesk about streaming and the only option was them giving us an hdmi cable to connect our phone to the TV. They were nice enough to bring it to our room but that meant we had to make ourselves presentable for when then got there. The cable basically allows you to mirror into the TV but for some reason the phone wouldn't work within the distance that the cable gave; even on the wifi. Anywhere else we were able to stream in the phone but not within 2 feet of the tv.The bathroom had like a 6 inch gap under the door. So not only does it not feel completely private but, if you have to use the bathroom during the night, that light shines into the dark room. The room itself felt a little motelish, with the big metal door so close to the bed. With all lights off, and the room should be blacked out, I woke up in the morning to a glowing beam of day light that peered thru the peephole (this wasn't what woke me but I disrupted the vibe). Usually sybaris has me feeling separated from the world and completely relaxed, but not here.Overall, I guess it's still nice but compared to our experience at Northbrook, and that they're all the same price, we won't be returning to this location.

First time there. Had an amazing time! Great scenery and comfortable space! Very private and calming. Definitely recommend a visit!

I was only slightly disappointed we went to thr Northbrook location and the room was gorgeous, we had our own driveway and our own little space tucked in a corner. This one is super close together and parking is limited. Plus the room was very outdated. I think we won't come back to this location but overall a fun experience.

This unique hotel is perfect for couples looking for an in-town getaway. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Great pool suite, we had a great time! We had a minor issue and the GM was very kind and accommodating. Would come back and would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing the place with Gorgeous the service was very friendly the general manager at Downers Grove is amazing the general manager Roland McDonald was absolutely the GUY! Came to Chicago for an Alicia Keys experience and this place absolutely with the cherry on top!

Fun anniversary weekend. We did the deluxe whirlpool suite, but are seriously considering upgrading to an in-room pool next time!

The Northbrook company is horrible! My boyfriend and I made reservations 6/7, so they already got their payment, but 6/23 we got scammed and had to close our checking acct and all cards. We were halfway there when my boyfriend called to do the pre check in and they told us they would not let us keep the reservation because we didn't have our card. We told them we could have the bank call them and verify it was us and they said no. I have never had someone make me feel like they have on top of already having a horrible experience. The manager we spoke with was rude and hung up on us. I will never again try and stay here and I hope no one else gets treated the way we did! This just broke my heart on top of everything else.

This Was My First Time Visiting This Location. It Was A Birthday Surprise Gift From My Daughters Wanted Me To Be Able To Getaway And Relax For My Bday This Year. I Definitely Enjoyed Myself Here The Rooms Where Very Clean And Had A Hot Tub And Showers As Well The Bed Was A King Size And A Massage Chair As Well Definitely Needed It Chair Was Great Tub Was Spacey. I Would Definitely Be Back Again For My Wife Bday.

I love this place a very beautiful clean comfortable laid back getaway home away from home I’m a regular customer my rooms always be nice and clean and cozy customer service is great the staff that always works with me every visit I come needs a outstanding raise Haldair,Sunny she is the sweetest and Annette does amazing customer service they are the best I’ll be returning soon thanks for the great customer service
