We drive from Lockport to Beard Auto Repair because they are the only mechanics we can trust. After being taken advantage of by every other local auto repair shop, Beard is the best thing to happen to us as vehicle owners. They only fix what needs to be fixed unless you ask them to fix more. You have no idea how great it is to get a call saying no charge because nothing needs repair at this time. Knowing we can wait until spring to revisit possible repairs instead of them just making money off of us is the difference between the honest mechanics at Beard and the 3 other shops we have been to.

Shop. They exhibited expertise, integrity , and honesty. They repaired our Ford after the dealer was unable to do the job. Their fee was quite reasonable. We will recommend them to our friends and family!!!

My car needed general car things done and for my sunroof to be looked at because it was leaking. Everyone was kind, courteous and explained what needed to be done. they did a great job on my car and will be taking my car here from now on. prices are extremely reasonable, especially with the level of customer service you recieve.

I've trusted Beard Auto for 5 years now with my car, after being recommended to them when I moved to Illinois by family who have gone there for decades. Dave and the team are the most thorough, trustworthy, accommodating, and kindest people you'd want working on your vehicle - they always explain clearly what the problem is and what the best options are, and will tell me if I don't need something done, even if I've asked them to do it. Their prices are always fair, and while you might be able to find someplace to do a cheaper job, having an honest and reliable mechanic is worth it to me knowing I can drive safely and without worry.

I have been going to Beard Auto Repair for about 15 years with both of our cars. Normal service is done professionally and timely. When issues are observed by the technician a reasonable solution is identified and the problem's are fixed at a reasonable price.Today I got a problem resolved after 3 visits to the shop. I am very happy with the service and the final solution. David Beard did a great job trying to find the final solution and did it with an extremely reasonable cost. Thank You David!!!I will be using your shop in the future!

I had called yesterday with an issue I’ve been having for a month or so. They were super busy but managed to squeeze me in this morning. I came in a little later than we had discussed but they saw me near immediately! I was so surprised and grateful. They fixed it under 5 minutes and had me on my way! Ive been driving on it and my car sounds GREAT! I’ve never had a shop experience where they didn’t try to up sell me or tell me about 10,000 other things that needed to be replaced. They were SO nice, honest, and exactly what you’d expect from a reliable small company opposed to a huge corporation! I seriously felt like I was in good hands from the jump. It also didn’t hurt that I found them from SO many people telling me they were honest and reliable. I’ve never had a go to mechanic but I will trust them with everything from now on!Thank you Dave and everyone else!

Beard has been our go-to mechanic for over a decade. They give us honest feedback on the health/longevity of our vehicles - which was evident the time they suggested it was time to buy a new truck, even though by us getting rid of that old truck meant they weren't going to get to make thousands of dollars in repairs to it. I was blown away by their honesty.
