Assistance Home Care took care of my mother while she was on hospice care at home. Ashley could not have been more professional, more dedicated or more involved with me, my mother or the hospice team. Assistance Home Care insured that hospice and Ashley worked together for the best care of my mother! I would recommend Assistance Home Care to anyone in need of caregivers who really are dedicated to their work and their clients!

My experience with Assistance Home care has been nothing but positive. Starting with how thoughtful they were about who they sent to care for my elderly parents. Down the road they went above and beyond to help me solve issues that arose with dementia and memory loss. I am grateful for their help and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking care for a family member.

Ever since I joined this company, I've been nothing but happy. I was skeptical at first due to working at a previous homecare agency that did not care about its employees. Literally meeting Iziah, Elisa, and Jen has been the best thing ever. They literally help me with everything. Whatever I need they are there. When I went through hardship with a family member, they checked on me when they didn't have to. They made sure I was OK and took care of my shifts. I started having car troubles and they figured out a way to get me to work without having a car, which no job has ever done. I love my clients, they're amazing and I have even grown within the company. I'm just so happy to be here, if you need a place to bring your family they are awesome! If you're looking for a job, this place is great!!

This Is A General Review To The Workers & To The Families Looking Into Care For There Love Ones . please be aware families that this company is absolutely terrible I worked with them for two years almost off and on and they barely have caregivers , they will act as if they can work with your schedule but once they get you signed they are not able to do so they are really thirsty to get you to sign and they overcharge and pay there workers bare minimum. In my honest opinion they are more in it for the money of your love ones than the care due to my experience with them all . To the workers looking to work with them , you all need to know they play favoritism ! Please do not go above and beyond for this company they will use and abuse your kindness and show no appreciation they will post pictures online and act as if there such a wonderful loving appreciate company that’s a lie only time they show appreciation is when they want to ask you to cover someone’s shift that someone calls off of . By the way they have a lot of call offs . The families looking to the Chicagoland location . Also they will give you hours and next thing you know a week or two later there’s no work . There clients never last please run ! And find you a company that respects you , your work , your bills , and not just in it for there self and wealth I absolutely loved working for this company until I seen how they were operating long term ! I am absolutely Feed up with this company there office team , and there lies ! in my opinion RUN RUN RUN !

My family and I could not be happier with the staff and services provided to my 80 year old mother. Tony is a phenomenal manager, and kept in communication with me daily. He is an extremely polite, gentle and caring man and helped us navigate the best schedule and services we needed for mom. His assistant manager Isaiah was also extremely kind and supportive of us. We had two caregivers, both were wonderful. Our caregiver Jeffrey was outstanding! Jeffrey was extremely gentle and caring and took care of moms every need. In addition to that it seemed he formed a genuine bond with my mom. He didn't just take care of her physical needs, he spent time chatting, watching her favorite programs with her and became her friend. Jeffrey is a wonderful human being! I would recommend Assistance Home Care to anyone looking for the best care for a loved one. Tony and team, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of mom!

We had a wonderful experience working with Assistance Home Care and specifically, Ashley. We went through a number of aids, all of whom were okay, but when we found Ashley, everything clicked. My father, whom Ashley worked with, immediately loved her. Ashley has always been patient, kind, flexible, understanding and responsible. Truly, she has been the make or break component for my dad’s happiness and contentment throughout his aging process. It’s hard to imagine where we would be without her help and Assistance Home Care.

My family hired Assistance Home Care to help care for my mom. We had a great experience. They were able to send a care giver on very short notice which was critical. I’ve worked for AHC for 3 years now. I relocated to Chicago and started at this location this year. Just as the STL location, everyone in the Downers Grove office is always so extremely pleasant, welcoming, flexible and thorough when it comes to getting task completed. I am currently in my first placement of clinicals in graduate school and AHC Downers Grove have managed to get me hours with such a tight schedule. An amazing place to work.

My family dropped this company in St. Louis. Looks like they're trying to expand. Incompetent assistants and terrible customer service. Same owners. Thousands wasted. Go elsewhere.

The entire team of Assistance Home Care did an amazing job. From the last minute call to get care started to responding to changing the amount of hours per day I needed almost daily, they met my needs with understanding an a smile. And my caregiver, Ashley, I cannot speak highly of. This agency is simply amazing!

Assistance Home Care is a company that I love to work for because of the people on the team and the opportunity it has given me to help Seniors in our community. I was fortunate enough to be the first assistant area care manager for AHC Chicago and I had an amazing experience. The work culture and environment from every single employee in the company is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. Everyone is welcoming, has an open door, is easy to talk to and just all around pleasant; from the top leadership to the care professionals. The effort that was put into the foundation of this organization about its core values show up daily. Caregiving is an ever changing field that requires patience and love and I don’t believe any other agency exemplifies that more than AHC. I would recommend it to any family looking for private caregiving services and to anyone looking for a great company in health care to work with. It was a pleasure serving as the AACM.

Our family has been working with Assistance Home Care for a 3-4 months and they’ve been wonderful. They are accommodating and flexible as our family’s needs have changed and have always been able to adjust their regular schedule to make it to doctor’s appts, etc. They’re easy to get ahold of, great with communication, and are proactive about getting shifts covered when a particular care pro is unavailable for their regular shift. Highly recommend!
