“The food from this Jewel Osco is always excellent quality!! The atmosphere is really great and the service is always good. Today though I had an extra good experience at the deli counter with Martha. She took the time after I told her what brand of food I wanted to give me a sample to make sure I liked it. She is the first person behind the deli counter to do this. This kind gesture by her made my day.”

“I absolutely love this Trader Joe's in a while. This Trader Joe's seems a little bit smaller than other neighboring ones. I really do like it because every time I walk in here someone who works here is incredibly friendly and helpful. I have only been to this place once in the last four years when it was slightly empty, and there was not a line for check out, the parking here is absolutely horrible. Whoever designed this strip mall with as many stores as there are as well as how narrow the driving lanes are is ridiculous. The only downside to this location is that anytime there are great seasonal items you have to be here, fast and early otherwise they are gone.”

“I love how other people review this chain of supermarkets and think they will find pricing compared to Jewel or Mariano's. The difference with Sunset Foods is that they offer a lot of options, more high end, than the cheaper larger competitors. What you'll find at Sunset are departments with friendly and helpful staff. management that cares about its customers, and people willing to help at every turn of the store. Sure, I know I'm paying more for the same food and produce I can get elsewhere cheaper, but the quality is better at Sunset and the produce tends to last longer. I love the fact that as you bring your cart to pay, the management is there to guide you to an available cashier or a short line and then they empty your cart onto the belt. They help you to your car and even load your groceries in your trunk if you need the help. There are no other stores in our area (that I'm aware of) that have such great customer service. Lastly, one of the best services they have is that if they don't have an item you're looking for, you can let them know at customer service and they will get it in stock for you. Their customer service is unparalleled especially in how they go above and beyond to help you in your shopping experience.”

“What can you really say about Aldie? We’ve all been there. We all know what it’s like. Always stocked sometimes. You have to hunt for things as they’ve been misplaced. But if the overall experience is perfect it’s a Aldie. Only thing I hate is digging for a quarter for the stupid carts they should sell like some kind of device you can buy for like a buck or so that unlocks the carts maybe like a key tag or something I don’t know. That was my big is beef hunting for a quarter in the car and the person you know the routine. .”

I do not know that much about different parts of meat, and employee took his time listening to what I was looking for, explained differences of parts of meat, I got to choose things suitable for my capability of cooking(im not really good at marinating and cooking We also tried a few jerkies and sausages They were so gooooood!!! “I've been coming to Dee Jays and the grand since I was a kid. Most items are very overpriced, especially the premade food, but you're paying for convenience. There are some deals to be had. For years the lunch plate has been a go to lunch for me. For years it was $5, I think it's still less than $8. You get a choice of meat and 2 sides. It's enough for 2 meals. I also highly recommend the egg salad and curry chicken salad.”

“Not a regular Aldi shopper, went with a friend. So if some observations are "standard Aldi" you'll know that. Newer store, very bright and clean. Wide aisles very nice for navigating the wide carts. I realized that they basically don't carry typical American brands, it's private label or something like that. My friend needed mostly produce, and the selection & quality were good. There was no stock out for a deep-discount item she came for. The seasonal aisle was unkempt but had an interesting variety. Stealth hit: Winking Owl wine...quaffable and dirt cheap. I was happy to learn that they accept credit cards (you still need a physical quarter if you want a cart!). But there were no pack-your-own boxes when we checked out, happily my friend had a lot. Overall pricing was sharp, and tho selection was limited, I didn't feel like I was shopping in a heavy-discount place.”

“I need to get names but the people at this store are so lovely. Very friendly and nice man in self checkout. I watched him and another woman who was working there hug today like they genuinely loved working with each other. The man making the chicken this morning came out and handed it to me personally. I really love this Mariano’s. You don’t see service like this anymore or employees who are not miserable so I hope that means this store takes care of their people. I tend to stay away from stores where the employees are not treated well. Everyone should do that!”
