Sadly, this is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere if you need help purchasing medical equipment. I have gotten nothing but the runaround from every person I’ve spoken to there. Not a single employee has helped me or done what they have said they would. We have been trying to get a stroller for our medically complex special needs son through insurance since January. I have been told so many different things, had my insurance blamed, not been told about denials affording me the opportunity to appeal, supposedly dealing with his secondary insurance now though nobody has any clue or idea what’s happening. I have called so many times and been promised to be contacted back. I get nothing but excuses. It’s so disappointing and exhausting. Last communication was a text from Kelley promising to personally make sure the therapist did their job and submitted the correct paperwork. She also promised to try and find a rental with a canopy. Another 2 weeks and nothing. No communication (which is all I’ve been asking for). I texted yesterday to just stop the process and we will go elsewhere because at this point, it’s laughable. Do you think I received a phone call, an apology, anything? Nope. Not a word. Don’t waste your time. Communication is literally all I have wanted. Go elsewhere.

I have very bad experience with that company. In the beginning they were very nice and it was easy to reach them. We requested a power wheelchair for a disabled patient who is mobilizing only on that kind of equipment. Assessment was done on time but then somebody messed up documentation that was sent to insurance. They gave incorrect information and insurance denied it. Now the contact with this company is not easy anymore. When I call them they transfer me to person that never picks up the phone. Tiered of that will be looking for another company. Absolutely I do not recommend this company.

Lynn Ferguson is an amazing, compassionate person who thinks outside the box. He follows through, always comes as promised and makes sure all is in place when he is done with his call. My disabled daughter is now 30 and I have NEVER met anyone like Lynn in your industry. He can never retire! Ana is also great and similar to Lynn in so many ways. They are quite the team, anticipating what is needed and again caring for your loved one as she is theirs. They are unbelievable and I hope you appreciate them as much as I do.

STAY AWAY!!!!
My husband was a patient at Shirley Ryan. This company took the order of a new wheelchair for my husband and provided a wheelchair for him to bring home. At The time I told them the temporary wheelchair was too small. Joe was so uncomfortable but they informed me they had no other replacements at the time. Since we’ve been home I have left several messages to David who took care of the order through Shirley Ryan and the office, but have gotten zero response. He got the order and then he disappeared. I have left several messages with the company and spoken to representatives at the company with zero response. I have pleaded with them to give my husband a more comfortable chair until the special order electric chair comes in, which is going to take several months. No one is helping me they keep telling me they need to get a hold of David now we’re talking six weeks later still no response and still no response from David. Customer service at this company is awful. They definitely do not put their clients first. They are just out for the sale and that’s it! Even though I have told them so many times how uncomfortable it is for my husband to sit in his chair and he doesn’t last long in it because he is so uncomfortable, they still don’t care they still have not done anything to help him! If anyone’s thinking about ordering anything from them, be careful they’re service is absolutely horrible!

Great experience working National Seating and Mobility!! Lynn and his group were amazing. They explained the system very well. The installation went quick and efficiently. The training was thorough. Ana was terrific too. There was a 3rd man who was great but i forgot his name. I wish all companies were as easy to work with as NSM. I am a big fan and will recommend them to friends and family in the future!! Thanks for making our lives easier.

This review is being done by Dorothy Hart RN Director of Nursing at Bellwood Developmental Center a facility for people with developmental and intellectual disability. I have been working with NSM for the last 3 years in a attempt to get wheelchairs for the men and women we support at Bellwood. This process has been an absolute nightmare. We have not received the wheelchairs the residents were evaluated, measured and some cases molded for. I have not received any definitive answers why we have a hold up on delivery of the wheelchairs. The technician I worked would email me delivery dates and when the date came for the wheelchair to be delivered he would ghost me. Despite multiple calls to the office in Countryside they were not able to rectify the situation. Today when I spoke with a customer service representative she informed me that she had spoke with her manager and she was to tell me that the manner would be looked into but if I want to I could seek another company and they would understand. What I do not understand is their nonchalant attitude regarding the concerns of a customer and how something so important to the men and women we support would be so easily dismissed. I only gave 1 star because I could not post this review without and a rating and 0 star was not an option. I am willing to discuss my issues and concern with someone from the corporate level since I have got no resolution of the this situation at the local level.

Out of several ramp builders National Seating was the easiest to work with and very responsive to my questions. After it was installed one of the workers let me do a test "push" up and down the ramp so I knew I would be able to use it for my wife (we are both in our 70's).

0 star rate would be the real rating. This company feels like a scam. There has to be a class action lawsuit out there. How could a company be solely for a person in need with physical disabilities, and be so inconsistent & careless with that persons need? The customer service response rate is HORRIBLE (so no need for the Bot response on this review), the weeks that sometimes turns into months for a return call/response or the "next step" in fulfilling your order, is just simply disrespectful & very unprofessional. I will be requesting management or the owner response thru BBB review, & I also encourage everyone to take it further than a low rating review on this site & moving on to another company, for the sake of those in need that don't have any other assistance besides the referral to this HORRIBLE company/location, or they can't afford to go somewhere else. Again, I give this location & customer service the lowest rating possible. If you're researching & or just reviewing, please move on to the next location or company! (Note)-This is the second time in about 6 years trying to work with this company for a chair, doing all the paperwork, a few visits for fittings & still NO CHAIR... & this second time, it's been about 10 months of the back & forth. & NOTHING, yet, with no explanation what happened a few years ago! :-(

They installed my new door opener open Sesame. It is wonderful. They are very helpful and kind. Lynn and Gerardo are the best. They explained everything thoroughly and really took their time to make sure that we understood how everything worked before they left. We had a tiny issue with Our equipment and they came out in a timely manner to fix it. I highly recommend them for any of your home adaptation needs.

National Seating & Mobility were able to help me on getting new Fully Electric Bariatric Bed. I had a bed from Invacare long time ago and I was happy with it, so I asked if NSM could get me Invacare bed. They were able to help me with that and now I have very good bed once again. Their crew delivered bed to my house, put it all together, tested it out, shoud me that everything works. I am so happy with their work and give their company a 100%.
