12/10. Looking down the barrel of a massive liability when I filed online due to complicated move/job this year. Went local with Wallace E. Dunn because it would cost the same to file with them as it would turbotax and I hoped they would find something I did wrong.Not only were they extremely nice and patient with me, someone who left it til April to file, I'm actually getting money BACK, even after their fee, on my return. The US tax system is d*** but these people are smart and I could cry.

Excellent CPA Wally is the best!! Wally has reasonable prices After getting audited on a return from H&R block my friend at work recommended Wally that was 2008 . And have not leftss of 2023

I'm reluctant to write this review because it's like telling people about your great shortcut home...so it might not be a shortcut anymore !! Wally and his staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable and they get back to you quickly even when they are super busy...they can handle very complex tax issues and returns including multi-state and business related returns. I highly recommend them-- but don't tell too many people about this firm---please keep Wally and his firm a "secret" so too many people don't steal our shortcut !!

Will use again..Had always used online tax services but this year things looked grim due to a new business and other things. Wallace E Dunn services saved us and did an amazing job. Super responsive and efficient. Absolutely no regrets and it didn’t cost much more than online services. Thanks for the great experience.

I was terrified when i got an audit from the IRS for my 2017 taxes and saying i owe a couple thousand dollars! I used an electronic tax self service so i have nobody to blame but myself. I ran immediately to Wally and he carefully walked me through the procedures, to which i was actually getting a refund! I will never do my own taxes again and use Wallace Dunn every year from here on out! He's the best! Thanks Wally

I've used Wally for seven years now. My wife uses him now too for her business taxes. I met him in person for our first meeting and recommend you do the same if you can (if not, no biggie, it just helps). Now I just do it all electronically--I send them a bunch of PDFs of my W2, etc., and they email me a work order. I pay them, and then governments pay me (usually). Taxes are about more than saving money. Wally represented me when the IRS screwed something up and got me out of an erroneous $2000 bill that happened after some SNAFU with a retirement account. They answer questions you have about how money works and have good suggestions for saving money in life (not just with taxes). I think Wally pitched the idea of a hacker space to me in 2012 as a way to enjoy hobbies more cheaply. Now they're all over the place and I have one in my basement.
