I truly regret buying my wedding dress from Ultimate Bride. From the beginning, the entire process felt like a money grab. Additionally, the stylist pressured me to order the dress and veil without giving me adequate time to think about my decision. Their pushy sales tactics made me feel rushed and uncomfortable during what should have been a joyful experience.
I initially gave them the budget I wanted to stay around as well as inspiration pictures. The stylist kept bringing out dresses that weren’t remotely what I was looking for. She then mentioned that if I wanted the dress I was looking for, I would need to go up in budget. I agreed to go up to see what other dresses there were. After that, she finally brought in a couple of dresses that were more what I was looking for.
I found one I liked but didn’t love and kind of gave up hope and went home. I went back a couple of days later to try it on again, as well as a couple of other dresses that I had tried on previously. I decided on a different one and went with that. When she showed me the price, the dress itself was double my budget. They then added on even more fees, making the dress four times more expensive than my original budget.
I went home that night wanting to take some time to think about it and go to another dress store. They called me and pressured me into buying the dress that night, as well as the matching veil, adding a $1,367 fee for rush shipping on top of their standard shipping price. I went dress shopping in February and my wedding is in September.
The dress got delivered to their store in June and it wasn’t lined properly. They had added a fee of $620 to line the bodice, so it was disappointing that it wasn’t done right. I tried on the veil and I didn’t love it. The stylist kept pushing me to try it on again at the fitting, reassuring me that I would like it. When I asked what could be done about the return, they added a 25% restocking fee, which came to $700.
I ended up taking my dress elsewhere to be altered. I was worried that each fitting and alteration would come with an unexpected fee. The focus on upselling and squeezing out as much money as possible overshadowed any semblance of customer service. I also went elsewhere for my veil and other accessories. The second place I went to was so much more accommodating. If you're looking for a stress-free and transparent shopping experience for your special day, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Absolutely love Ultimate Bride! I worked with Amanda to find my perfect dress. She was great. Easy to schedule appointments after finding the dress and they are very flexible. The tailoring done in house was also great! Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Amanda to be your bridal stylist!! She made me feel comfortable and pulled out fabulous dresses I never would've picked. Amanda is very sweet and professional and she made my experience better than I had anticipated. The dress shopping was not something I was excited about, but she changed that for me. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected death in our family wedding plans were put on hold along with making a decision on a dress. I didn't have the headspace within the ordering time-line but I promise you Amanda is your girl. 5+++

I found a Jesus Peiro veil that I saw online and loved so I wanted to order it. Ultimate Bride was listed as a point of sale for Jesus Peiro so I emailed inquiring about ordering the veil since I live in Chicago. After a week, I didn't receive a response via email so I called the store and left a voicemail. After a few days I didn't receive a call back so I called again. The second time I called, I spoke with an employee who seemed unsure of the process and said she didn't know if Ultimate Bride was able to order the veil for me or not, the employee said she'd find out and get back to me but she never asked for my information and clearly never intended to help me purchase the veil. I also never did receive an email reply from my initial inquiry. So I called Mimi's Couture Bridal in Kansas City and they were AMAZING. The employee there immediately said she'd contact their Jesus Peiro rep and find out if she could order the veil for me. Within a day she got back to me and I was able to order the veil which they shipped to me in Chicago. It's too bad Ultimate Bride has such poor customer service.

UPDATE: Came back with Kathia for my second look. It was so much fun to work with her again! We tried on lots of options and I picked the most perfect second look for me inspired by my first appointment with her. Still one of the best designer wedding gown locations in the country! Excited that I could come back and say yes!
Had a wonderful experience at Ultimate Bride with my stylist Kathia! The selection of gorgeous gowns is incredible and she was so knowledgeable about each one. Though I did pick my dress elsewhere (a designer they did not carry), I would still highly recommend the salon! I plan on coming back to look for my second look because they were all so sweet and had such beautiful gowns.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Ultimate Bride with Brandy. She really listened to my style and curated an incredible collection of dresses for me to try on. She is attentive and has a lot of passion for helping brides! I couldn’t say more amazing things about this place and Brandy in particular. I ended up finding my dream dress somewhere else but only because it wasn’t a designer Ultimate Bride carried. Regardless, I highly recommend searching for your wedding gown here - their dress collection is amazing and I think a lot of people may find their dream dress here!

My experience with ultimate bride was amazing! I couldn’t be happier with my dress and the whole process including alterations with Maya. I worked with Kathia and she was wonderful to work with and so helpful. I left with my dress fitting my perfectly and could not have loved it more! I highly recommend Ultimate Bride!!

When I went to Ultimate it was my second time trying on dresses and I knew what I was looking for. I was with Amanda for my appointment and she immediately understood what I was going for and pulled amazing options which led to finding my dress! Everyone at Ultimate was friendly, great to work with, and made what can be a daunting experience, enjoyable. Coming in from out of state for fittings can be a challenge but Maya was fantastic for each of my three fittings!

I cannot possibly say enough about the amazing service that I received at Ultimate Bride. I made my appointment and walked in to the store with absolutely no idea of what kind of dress I would have for my big day and with very minimal instruction, Brandy completely knocked it out of the park. My wedding dress was the second one that I tried on. I had made other appointments and tried on dress after dress, but none of them matched Brandy's selection. Then, when the dress arrived, I was in Maya's capable hands. I had four fittings, and Maya was like a dress surgeon. I was confident that she would make the dress fit perfectly, and she exceeded my expectations. Everyone complimented me on my wedding day. The dress stole the show. It really was the most amazing experience and I recommend Ultimate Bride and the dream team of Brandy and Maya to everyone!

This was hands down the best experience and decision I made for my wedding! Ultimate Bride made the overwhelming world of wedding dress shopping so enjoyable and the experience you really hope and dream to have as a bride. Not only do they have the most beautiful dress selection, but the service was flawless. We had the very best experience with Emilie (consultant) and Gianna (alterations) - they were a DREAM! I had the best experience shopping for my wedding dress at Ultimate Bride! Amanda listened to everything I wanted and helped me find the dress of my dreams. And then we met Maya, who is one of the most talented seamstresses ever. The alterations that I requested were pretty overwhelming, but man did she deliver! Maya and Amanda were with me every step of the way until 2 days before my wedding, and as a result my experience with Ultimate Bride far exceeded my expectations!

My experience at Ultimate Bride was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped in, Amanda was there to guide and support me, making the overwhelming process of finding my dream dress an absolute joy.
