U-Pack was phenomenal. My partner and I moved from Georgia up to Illinois this month, and U-Pack made things easy with getting all of our belongings up here. Samuel, the driver who delivered our pods in Decatur, GA, was fantastic - he did an outstanding job maneuvering the truck into our apartment complex. The Des Plaines, IL facility staff were also very helpful in ensuring we could get to our things right away. 10/10 and would love to use U-Pack for my next move!

This is the second time that I have used ABF Moving's services for an interstate move—this time to move from Chicago to Arkansas, and before that from Vermont to Chicago. ABF shipping is essentially the *only* company I have ever been thrilled to give my business to. With precious few exceptions, their staff are warm, professional, helpful, responsive, and clear. The call operators are fantastic; the staff at the various facilities are equally great. I can't say enough good things about this company. How do they do it? Is it something in the water? Are the wages and benefits just really good? Whatever the magic is, I hope they keep doing it. Moving is always an unmitigated nightmare, and ABF takes some of the sting out.

Really great experience from start to finish! U-Pack staff are very knowledgeable and kind. The freight service they partner with (ABF) is also very friendly and professional. Moving containers arrived on time and all items were accounted for without damages! (Damages, of course, depend on how you protect and pack your items within the container.) Best part, there are no hidden fees! You are charged what is listed on your U-Pack estimate. Would definitely recommend!

I had to move a daughter from Chicago to California. This POD was the perfect size, and pick-up and delivery was very easy. They were priced better than the rest. Highly endorsed.

I had a great experience with U-Pack. I was moved as a corporate client. Customer service was great throughout. There were no issues, and everything was delivered as specked with both the pickup location and the delivery at the end. U-Pack made my scheduling work in an apartment complex with timeline windows and elevator scheduling to the final pickup of the cubes. At my final delivery, they arrived right on time. Great staff at both pickup and drop off locations. I would use them again on my next move.

U-Pack has phenomenal customer service agents that are quick and easy to work with. We ended up encountering an accidental logistics issue, and the customer service was really fair in working with us to make everything right. We would definitely recommend this company, as they value their customers and seek to serve them well. Thanks U-Pack!

I'm leaving this review because I saw so many negative reviews for Upack that it had me doubting my decision to use them. I personally had a great experience using them. Everything went exactly as planned and all of my belongings arrived undamaged from Phoenix to Chicago. Honestly, things couldn't have gone any better. We hired movers to load/unload our trailer, so that may have made the difference in terms of no damage. All Upack employees were very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would use them again for a long distance move.

We booked the ReloCube online and called to the service center to double check the logistics. It’s pretty straightforward to confirm the loading time with the service center, and they picked up the phone pretty quickly. The entrance of the U-Pack office can be a bit hard to find - need to go all the way to the end until you see the Relocubes. The one month storage time will not start counting until the ReloCube has arrived the destination, but just be mindful that the transportation time can have some delay. Overall, it’s pretty hassle-free if you don’t need the ReloCube to arrive at a certain time/date.

I was very excited to work with this company but could not in good conscience recommend them. We ended up having a leak somewhere in the trailer which means quality control is an issue. We were given different information by different departments in different cities and ended up spending extra money that we did not need to spend. We were told the area we were moving to was serviced only on certain days of the week. So we paid extra for expedited service. Once we arrived at our new home, we were told by the local office that the information we received was outdated by a few years and that they'd been trying for a long time to get the central office to update it!!! When we tried to talk to a supervisor about this, we were dismissed as if we were trying to get out of something. We spoke to someone named Neil or Neal. He would not truly hear us out. The only reason we used expedited service was because we were given misinformation. He said because we got our stuff quickly, we were just trying to get money back after the fact. It was horrible customer service and beyond unprofessional. He would not let us speak to anyone higher than him. And a bunch of our stuff was damaged by water. So even though it seemed like a good deal, I could not recommend them bc of the lack of respect and empathy. ABF, on the other hand, was professional and empathetic about the whole situation. We were able to file a claim and get some money back for the water damage that occurred. It's ABF trailers that are contracted for use by U Pack. We were so disappointed in our overall experience. But the local team members where we moved were incredibly helpful and responsive. Neal/Neil was highly dismissive and would not hear us out.

Satisfactory.The cubes arrived on time and undamaged. I recommend checking one out before renting them, as I thought I could get away with just 1 but ended up needing more space.Make sure to pack everything tight, so there’s no wobble inside.My only gripe is that when everything arrived, there was this weird smell—like something rancid. After unpacking everything, it wasn’t any food or anything I packed. So I’m not sure what that smell was but it stuck to everything for months! Maybe it was a fluke.Logistically, this is a great idea.Looking back, I probably should’ve just gone with a more traditional moving company, and not tried to cheap out.

U-Pack offered me the best value for my move out of state. I packed my box at an ABF location and the employees were very helpful in explaining the process. It was very easy. Unfortunately, my packing continued into the night, so it was a little creepy, but that’s on me not the facility.

I was worried that it wouldn’t arrive out of state in time or that everything would be damaged on arrival but it beat me to my new city and everything was in the same condition as when I packed it! The customer service of the freight team was top tier also. I’m knocking off 1 star because customer service at the UPACK location in Chicago where I sent my stuff from needs some work.
