One of my fav breakfast sandwiches in the city. Haven't tried lunch yet. The market itself has quality prepared foods and good selection for its small size, but you pay about 20% more than you would at larger grocers. Convenience costs.

We visited during a recent trip to see family - lovely layout and products etc, but Lisa is the reason for the 5 stars :) she was so friendly, welcoming and such a fantastic credit to the store :) Lisa if you see this you have stuck in our minds and gave us such a warm welcome to Chicago. Thank you :)

Charged $40 for a 12 pack of high noons and wouldn’t honor the actual price they advertised. Will not be returning.

Y'all I like this place but I gotta say, if you're grabbing a sandwich look out for the plastic rind on the meat cuts, I thought I was chewing a tough piece of meat but it turns out my sandwich was full of what I'd describe as secret dental floss. This would be the second time. I mean my life didn't flash before my eyes or anything, it's not like I've been poisoned. But this CAN do intestinal damage. Plus I just wanna eat, I don't wanna dig for plastic treasure on my lunch break. RIP, my sandwich

As a resident of Lincoln Park, South Loop Market is one of the best grocery stores around. I've always had great experiences with variety of products, cleanliness of the store, and AMAZING customer service from the staff, especially Lisa! She and the other floor staff are always friendly, professional, and kind. 10/10 recommendation!

Of the 5 times I've been here, three of those times they have they tried charging me significantly higher than what the sticker price was advertised at. They never offer a receipt, so make sure you ask for one.Convienient little corner store but make sure you check what you're paying for before swiping your card!

Lisa and the staff at this South Loop Market location are the reason I keep returning! They know each of the locals in the neighborhood and are always so friendly.

The older lady at the deli does not wear gloves while preparing the food. On occasions I’ve caught her eating and making food orders. So gross. She’s always swearing in Spanish too. She’s so vulgar ?

They have self-serve Intelligencia Coffee conveniently located between my bus stop and work.

Love this place! Good quality fresh food and prices are reasonable. If you live in the neighborhood and commit to going regularly, they may even stock a specific item if you ask for it. We just moved away after living next door for several years and we will miss going there.

They sell Digiorno pizzas for $12...the same as their frozen Deep dish pizzas....Guess that's great if you need a Deep dish and Luce close by. This place is generally more marked up than is reasonable.

Love this place! Everything you could possibly need without the hassle of going to the grocery store. The woman that is always working in the deli is very hospitable and efficient. Slices up my cold cuts in the blink of an eye! A super nice man helped me today and he was just as quick. The people at the register are always very kind too!

Stickers are all wrong on their shelves and they know it. I accidentally bought a box of granola bars sticker price $5, real price $11. Naturally requested a refund. Cashier said he "couldnt process card refund" and I had to wait until Sunday (this was Friday) to get a refund when the boss was in the office. Not even sure that's legal to operate a shop with no means of processing refund. Place is nice w good products but deceptive pricing and every other item is marked wrong. I dont shop here anymore.

The bakery and cafe items are pretty good if you don't mind throwing money down the toilet. And by pretty good--I mean the cinnamon roll was rock hard and the chai latte tasted like dirt. So bad. Also ridiculously expensive, but that's what you get for a little market on the corner right off the L. Obviously I won't ever go there again.
