Lived here for a few months.. The location is awesome and gives a true feel of living a Chicago downtown life.. I loved my stay here ! It is a well maintained community and it has nice amenities.. maintenance staff is great and responsive..

Love the place!!! What’s not to love. I have lived here for quite some time and my experiences have always been positive. The staff in the office have provided support when needed and are very responsive to requests. The maintenance/ engineering crew are exceptional. They do an excellent job keeping things running smoothly and quickly respond when needed while paying attention to details. No shabby repairs done here. Front desk crew are receptive and helpful in maintaining safety, security and deliveries. The place fells like home ( not a dorm) great neighbors and pleasant surroundings. This community has inclusive events and gatherings to list one of the perks. Great location, pretty quiet , yet close to the action and entertainment. Been a long time resident for many years and looking forward to a continued resident relationship.

This place truly captures the essence of downtown Chicago living. Its location is unbeatable - right by the L and a short stroll to Millennium Park, Ogilvie, Union Station, and River North. The management team is warm and welcoming, always coming up with delightful events and giveaways. Maintenance concerns? The service staff is on it in no time. The building also boasts a fantastic amenities floor. While some nearby buildings have numerous rules for facility use, 215 stands out with its relaxed and accommodating approach. They genuinely encourage residents to enjoy the amenities on offer. We had such a great time using the pool and outdoor grill during the summer months.In short, living here has been a joy, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a vibrant and welcoming community in Chicago.

My review is solely about the tour and application process. The tour was great and comprehensive and April has been super helpful since the beginning. The amenities are similar to what you'll find in other apartments like it but I found the layout of the apartments to be much better! The application process has been straightforward and I'm excited to live here soon!

Everything about this apartment has been great, except for one very very annoying issue: CONSTRUCTION NOISE.At least one day per week, sometimes even more than one days, there is construction starting right at 8AM and continuing for hours. With such loud hammering/banging/drilling, I could not work at all, not even with ear plugs or noise-cancelling headphones.It's not like there is construction everyday, but it does not seem to be ending either. It drives me crazy when they start hammering, it's just so loud..I would have happily rated 5 stars if not for the construction noise.

Moved in a month ago and so far have been quite disappointed. I often work from home but there seems to be regular construction going on in the building with banging/drilling noise directly feeding into my apartment and going on for several hours. This has happened on 5 different days in the last month alone with no prior warning from management. I Reached out to management about it and they told me this sort of thing happens regularly due to them replacing floors in apartments in floors above, so I should get used to it. Funnily, they forgot to mention that to me when I toured the building before moving in and told them I work from home.Other issues: security is quite lax, the doors to the elevators are almost always open and no fob key is needed to access the different floors of the building, this is an incident waiting to happen.

I’ve been staying here for the duration of my internship and I can honestly say that I have truly enjoyed the environment of the complex. One person who’s made my stay here more comfortable is Tierra who manages the front desk. From the moment she gave me my key, until this day, she has been such a breath of fresh air. She is phenomenal with answering my questions and and giving awesome recommendations for restaurants in the area. As a person who’s not from here she has definitely made this place feel more like home. Overall the complex is very nice, has great amenities and I feel pretty safe. There’s a lot of different food options and nails shops near by which is great to note. I definitely recommend staying here.

Our neighbors are quiet and the amenities are really good to enjoy. Also they have many events like taco day and donut day. This apartment is very nice.

I have lived here for almost 1 year and very much appreciate the environment. It's worth the price (about $3300 for a 2 bd) but worth the location and nice interior. Elevators sometimes break. Our room is very quiet - neighbors never hear us and vice versa. Note the electricity is very expensive (e.g., $200 in December) because of the high windows. If you're thinking about renting, get somebody to refer you. Good deal for both parties

I am very grateful to the management and staff for making my stay at 215 very pleasant.Thank you for your hard work and personable approach to residents!The building does care about the residents and always makes me feel welcome!Moreover, 215 West takes holidays and celebrations to another level!The building management surprised us with AMAZING decorations for Halloween! They turned every single elevator in to a theme. The amenity floor was also FULLY decorated. The management held a great party for the residents. We had catering, music, treats! Delicious food&spooky drinks! I could not stop eating that caramel glazed popcorn !!!I look forward to seeing what tricks you’ve got for the upcoming holidays!:)Thank you ???

I've lived at 215 W for the last 4 years and just renewed my lease. I love living here for so many reasons. The location is just perfect, right in the heart of everything but also a couple blocks away from the crowds. Everything is walkable. If I want a quiet walk in the evenings, I just walk towards west loop but if it's restaurants, shopping and activities that I'm in the mood for, I walk over to State Street, Millenium park and the Magnificent Mile. The building itself and all the amenities are very well maintained. They recently renovated the amenities floor and have a spanking new coffee machine (good free coffee!). I also love the thoughtful events and mixers that the amazing office staff puts together from time to time. I've seen several luxury buildings and condos in the downtown Chicago area and have heard horror stories about the management.. but can't think of 1 thing to complain about at 215 W, especially if you're in a higher unit with all that sunshine and glorious view of downtown!

Have LOVED living at 215 West! Been here 7 years. The apartment is spacious….very nice sized master bedroom compared to other properties. Love that it has an actual entryway so that you don’t immediately walk into the living space.The leasing team is awesome… they plan events monthly for residents.Juan at the front desk is always so friendly and helpful as well as Michael.Great place to live in Chicago!
