$250 for in-person filing, very expensive, and I wouldn't have minded if I felt like I was getting expert service. At one point, the preparer gave me incorrect information about the max IRA contributions, which would have caused me to contribute thousands more than what is allowed, good thing I double checked this information in real time. Seems pretty basic information for a tax preparer to know. I gave 2 stars because even though there was another issue with my student loan information, and we had to research the issue together, they did find a solution which I would have been worried about if I was doing my taxes on my own, however I'm still not confident that they actually had a good solution or or if they just found a way for the system to accept the information. Not feeling very confident that the accurate thing was input, but I guess that's why I'm glad it's guaranteed :/ They were nice and all. Wish H&R was more transparent about pricing as well.

If you need your tax return amended, and have any follow up questions DON’T go here. They are a complete joke. My wife and I needed an amended return in February 2023. We provided everything to Maria Gallardo and she submitted our amended return for 2022. She informed us that the Federal return was accepted but that the 2 state returns would need to be mailed out. She informed us that we would receive information in the mail to pay our federal return and we would receive refund checks from the 2 state returns. 2 months went by and when I tried following up, they rudely said “You just have to wait, it takes a while”. But something felt off. Now it’s July 2023 and I receive a letter from one of the states for the amended state return saying that not all of the documents were submitted correctly. I tried following up with Maria and have received no word. Some of the worst customer service I have ever had. I will never be going to this location again and I encourage others to not go there either.

Do NOT go here - this is not a REAL H&R Block it’s a ‘franchise’.-When I asked for some type of satisfaction guarantee for their work (because they are the experts/professionals) - they refused and told me to find another tax professional. Super unprofessional.

NOT AN ACTUAL HR BLOCK. Beware. When I called just looking for the IRS mailing address some lady who barely spoke English told me she didn’t know & that I should ask who I filed with? I told her I didn’t that’s why I’m calling a tax preparation company to ask for it. She told me to Google it and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak with anyone else that could assist me. She said there wasn’t anyone else, yet it sounded like a fraud call center in the background. There is no way that’s a real HR Block. This is a scam setup. Reporting to Better Business Bureau before they swindle a bunch of people in a month.
