Online I booked an appointment for 6pm. I got a confirmation for 6pm digitally. I arrive at 6pm and they said our appt was at 6:30pm instead. So we waited until 6:30pm and then they were running behind and we had to wait even longer to seen. We weren’t seen until 6:50pm. Go elsewhere if you can. Front desk staff was rude.

My time with Madeline was the worst experience I've ever had.She was rude, condescending, and short, telling me things like "This appointment was for nothing," "You should have looked online," and "It's not complicated."I've never been made to feel smaller or such a waste of someone's time. Maybe others have had better luck, but run, don't walk in the other direction.I will say, it was a stark contrast to the service I received from John Casey (2364 N Clark St. office). He was helpful, informative, and so generous with his time. Unfortunately, his office is closed until January 2023, so he wasn't an option for my quarterly taxes.

The reason for my rating is because the person who helped me first gave me a price and then changed it to a higher price and I didn't find that fair.

I was promised several times that somebody would be in contact with me concerning my complicated taxes, nobody never reached out to me. After 2 weeks of getting nowhere i called the office at 10:39 am and a very rude individual named Madeline said she was the only 6iine in the office and to call back then hung up! I called back to get the location of the main office and she hung up again! I then proceeded to call back to let her know how unprofessional she was and i was calling corporate, she laughed and said "go ahead " she then began shouting to me that she was the only person in the office as if that's my fault! Its the heart of the filing season, why is she the only person in the office?????

Karl is a great tax preparation person has a lot of knowledge. Very friendly atmosphere. They send you reminders for appointments and are very flexible if you need to reschedule.
