Since moving to Gateway, I've really enjoyed my experience. The apartments and facilities are very well maintained. Akuba, who helps manage the building, is a welcoming presence and coordinates creative community events. The security team (shout out to Crystal, Arielle, and Nova) are all really friendly. Crystal is espeically ougoing and goes out of her way to make my experience as wonderful as possible. She even remembered my birthday and recognized my family when they visited me for the second time! I'd definitely recommend living in this building if you're looking to move.

Gateway made my move to the US so much smoother. From the extremely helpful leasing staff to all the amenities offered, my transition was seamless.I also would like to give a special shout out to Crystal who has been extremely accommodating from my very first day. I can hands down say my best experience across all previous residences to date has been with Crystal. She is caring, knowledgeable and really makes you feel at home!Thank you Gateway!

We have lived at gateway for 4 years and have enjoyed it so much! We love the staff from management office to concierges and maintenance team! Krystal is one of the concierges and she always has a smile on her face! She also takes her time to help every resident and we would not know what we would do without her at Gateway!

Can't wait to offically move in! Our lease has started but we don't move in for another few weeks. The staff we've met have been amazing! Everyone is so nice! Akuba is wonderful!!!!! The building seems very well kept and the staff is very responsive to our quesitons and requests. We love the location and the fact we have private parking :) Can't wait to move in!

I lived here for a year and while the location is superb and the doorstaff is great, the management is abysmal. First of all, you cannot control the heat/AC is not individually controlled and in certain facing units (including mine), during the winter it would get over 80 degrees in my apartment despite the thermostat being set at 70. There was one window that opened in the unit and it did not have a screen . When I complained to the building, about it, the only solution they were able to give me was a small fan. When my rent was up for renewal, they increased the rent by over 35% ($750) with no room for negotiation even when offering to sign a multi-year lease. Then, after I moved out, they charged me $300 for a "cleaning fee," despite my apartment having been in the same condition as the numerous apartments I had moved out of previously without any issue.

Gateway West Loop Apartments are amazing! I’m from a much smaller city than Chicago and wasn’t sure what to expect, but the community here has exceeded my expectations.I rarely hear my neighbors and outside noises, and the various amenities offered are great! Also, I have never lived in an apartment community that cared so much about its residents- they give out welcome home gifts, have regular resident events and even have a resident rewards program.Apart from all this, the building is well-maintained and clean. I recommend Gateway to anyone looking for an apartment in the West Loop area!

I probably have called around to 20+ apartments in the past few weeks to see what's available and Gateway West Loop stood out as providing the best service. I specifically wanted to call out Akuba as she was so genuinely kind/helpful. Akuba made sure I received all of the information about the available units promptly, and made me feel so welcome when I wasn't even a tenant yet. We ended up going with a different apartment solely due to location, but the service here is so amazing I wanted to call it out!

I have lived at the Gateway West Loop for 2 years in both a studio and one-bedroom. It has truly been my favorite apartment experience in the city. The staff are unparalleled – Crystal and Porche make the building feel like a true community. Location is second to none and apartment features feel current and high-end. Plus having Mariano’s and Whole Foods steps away is a huge benefit.The amenities are top-notch and being a mid-size building you are never faced with over-crowding in the amenity spaces. The building app allows for a quick response from both maintenance, front desk, and management.Outside of the amazing staff, my favorite part of the building is having a large balcony. It is a rarity in rental buildings and it really does make the world of a difference in being able to have your own private outdoor space.I wish everywhere I lived had a Crystal!
