Easy To Work With, Fair and Honest!We had a bag full of old coins from an inheritance, Joe went through them all with us. He helped identify what made some valuable and others just interesting but only face value.He purchased the ones we didn’t have any emotional ties to, at a fair price. It was easy to contact them and set up an appointment on Wednesday. (Saturday was another option) Everything went smoothly. I’m glad we chose them.

My wife and I had some silver coins and gold jewelry that had simply been taking up space in our home for years, and we wanted to see if there would be any value in cashing them in. With no idea how to choose a jewelry/precious metal buyer, we decided to trust Google and Yelp reviews. What a great decision that turned out to be. Chicago Gold Gallery had over-the-top great reviews, and now it's my pleasure to add yet another 5-star review here on Google.I called CGG on a Monday and wound up speaking to Christina. She was friendly, asked us what we had for evaluation, and upon hearing about the items, she recommended we come in the following Wednesday to work with her father, Joe. We did that. And however strange it sounds, we actually had a fun time dealing with Joe.We sat down across a desk from Joe and immediately felt comfortable with him. He is simply a gentleman, and his honesty and integrity were immediately apparent to us. He explained everything about what he was doing as he examined our items, weighed them, sorted them, and finally suggested amounts for everything. In the course of our visit, we also discussed Joe's history as a musician, and the many years he's been doing business as CGG. It was like sitting down and enjoying time with an old friend.We were totally happy and pleased with our experience with CGG. I have no problem assuming that I could not possibly have done better with any other dealer, and I certainly have no problem whatsoever recommending CGG as a 5-star jewelry and precious metal dealer.
