Guys, if you say you're going to be open till 2:00 on Saturday, then let's do that. Nobody's going to respect your hours of operation let alone your business if you don't respect it. Thank you

Would not supply the foliage and materials for my project, told me that it was a bad idea to do it myself, so I should hire a professional. However they would not complete the work, and would not mention anyone else that would.

I LOVE AGF AND LANETTE I first used AGF for my flowers on my deck. I was impatient as I wanted them early in May as the weather broke and Lanette made me wait till after Mother's Day and I am so glad I did as I would of lost them for sure if I didn't listen. She was amazing, on time, on budget with the most amazing flowers ever. They have grown in so nice (see pics). She walked me thru how to make them grow to be the best with watering, feeding, etc and was she right. I also used AGF for my wedding and I wanted all white and not the usual wedding flowers. Wow did she deliver! (see pics). I couldn't be happier with them, their product, their service and pricing. If you are considering flowers for anything you need to use them.

I simply cannot say enough about Angel Guardian florist and after reading the other review wonder if the person reviewed the wrong florist. I was in Chicago for a relatives funeral - it was a sudden passing and I was in a position to do a lot of the arrangements. As an out of towner looking for a florist an acquaintance pointed me in the direction of Angel Guardian. This is a family run business and it shows - they were amazing. They were sensitive to my situation and helped me through the process (having never planned for a funeral). They walked me through some of the traditional arrangements and asked all the right questions ensuring that we had exactly what we needed. The delivery and set up was spot-on...they were discreet in delivery and had the utmost respect for our family and situation. I wish I lived in Chicago so I could use them all the time - they take great pride in their work and customer service and it shows!

This is a new florist in the neighborhood and I'm all about supporting local businesses so I thought to check them out for a bouquet I am in need of. Plus they are located just a few blocks from where the bouquet needs to go, less than 1,000 feet is the distance. Sometimes I struggle when understanding how florists decide their delivery costs. Another thing to remember is many florists do not update or manage their website(s) they allow marketing companies to handle that for them, so pricing and availability issues may arise, it's better to call and find out details instead of relying on the website. At 9:00 am this morning their website read: "A local delivery fee of $0.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)" I called and inquired about the delivery cost, I've never seen free delivery except through a national service like FTD or Proflowers. Guy on the phone said I must not be looking at their website and the charge is $8 dollars. In the background I can hear a lady grumbling that I must be a deal seeker, I don't care as long as the delivery charge is reasonable. I tell the guy the flowers are going to travel 1-2 blocks. Still the charge is $8 dollars. OK. I ask for some time to look at the website and make a decision. I also tell them to check out their website and see the error which I can see in the "about us" section, they were RUDE about it. Saying the website is down and I shouldn't be able to see anything, blah blah blah. (If only they said thank you for letting us know, I would've placed an order for flowers) I refreshed the web page now at 11 am and the delivery cost has risen to $14.95. ( I happen to be sharing these events with my pal as it's happening and he says: "as your accountant I would advise you to look at the pay/work time you risk to lose versus the delivery fee of 14.95, this is called "opportunity cost", as a disliker of profiteering piggery, I would also weigh in the non-financial factor of paying 14.95 for delivery!!! ") I'm not buying flowers here today, maybe if I forget this event I may in the future. Walking passed on occasion, the flower shop is small and minimalistic in style. It's found underneath some rental apartments. A jet black florists refrigerator with a nicely displayed array of roses and baby's breath. Looking in, I wonder if they have any supply of decoration for bouquets or is it pay cash and carry out a single flower?

Angel Guardian Florist has nice floral arrangements, but I didn't like them that much. Although, I did find this one cute flower pot with beautiful roses in it. The cost was okay and they did deliver for free. Even though, I didn't like the arrangements that much, it doesn't mean that they were bad. I'm sure other people will like it more.
