When bringing my friend home from hospital the home equipment from insurance was great. However we had to take her back to hospital after 2 days and had to be put on hospice. The insurance equipment was taken out which was a great quality and hospice equipment was delivered. The guy that delivered equipment STUNK. Literally. The equipment was filthy. He said it was the cleaner that stunk. WHAT CLEANER?!. Then on pick up they literally forgot about me. TWICE. The dispatcher apologized. The driver was supposed to be by me to pick up NO LATER than 7pm. I called 3 times to confirm. At 8:30 I call and they are closed. AFTER 10pm I get a call from autumn. I said are you joking. We are stressed and worn out and in bed since 7 came and went. I hung up. I was too angry to deal with Autumn. Next day I call and same girl says VERY CRAPPY I MIGHT ADD that if she doesn’t pick up all her orders for the day she gets in trouble. WTH! Not my problem. Ok so where’s the phone call earlier to say sorry I’m running late do you still want a pick up even though you are tired and worn out and in bed ? She got snotty and my outside cameras picked it up with her being crappy. I said get your equipment and get out. Im done. I DO NOT. Go somewhere else if you’re needing equipment for hospice. Horrible company. Filthy equipment and rude drivers.

A pick up of equipment was scheduled for today, but they had the wrong information on the order ticket. The representative, Jeremy Vincent, straightened out the matter. He was very professional, personable and patient. He took the time to make sure the right equipment was picked up. Jeremy Vincent also called ahead of time with a courtesy call, and arrived at the exact time he said. Thank you, Jeremy! You're a great representative for the company!

Disrespectful inconsiderate drivers is all I’ve experienced. I suppose the reviews speak for themselves.

As mentioned by others, most of the process was acceptable, however the pickup scheduling is a mess. Very frustrating.

Decided to look up this company after having a few deliveries and pick ups by very polite drivers. I am a bit shocked by some poor reviews. However, maybe people who might have more positive things to say are likely grieving and not in a state of mind to write a review. I have some downtime in between caring for my father, so I thought I'd write. Hospice ordered our equipment and it came within a few hours. There was only one delivery man, but he was quick despite having lots to do. We were able to convince my dad to move in with us, as he wanted to stay in his home. Hospice called Advacare to let them know, I was called by the dispatcher & new equipment was delivered within an hour or two. They also arranged to pick up the other equipment when it was best for me. I am very satisfied with the service and equipment we received.

Drop off and driver were no problem, however now that we need the equipment picked back up there are nothing but problems. Again, driver is not a problem, the problem is whoever is in charge of making pick up appointments and a clear lack of communication between that person and the driver. I have called several times (and believe I spoke to the same woman every time) and explained when exactly I would be home. They never show up when I am home, only when I am not. They never call me before they do show up, they only call or text me after already going to my house and seeing I am not home. I don't know what else I am expected to do as I have already went above and beyond on my part. Very unreliable and unprofessional, Customer service is abysmal. Anon to protect my family's privacy.

We had our equipment delivered through Advacare while doing in home hospice for my mother. They call you ~30 minutes before they will be at your home to give you a heads up that they would be arriving. My dad and I were at home all day so it was not an issue for us; however, I can see it being difficult for someone who had a caretaker who was not at home all the time. The equipment they brought over was in ok condition. There were some that were quite dusty so always make sure to wipe everything down if possible especially the bed. The hospital bed's remote they gave us was so dirty, I had to clean it and wrap in saran wrap since I did not know where it had been haha. Each delivery is brought in, set up and taken away by one driver. All of our drivers were very friendly, courteous and efficient. We especially got along well with Hector and Mario. I do however agree with a couple of negative reviewers who noted that it is quite cold that they try to get the equipment removed as soon as a hospice patient dies. They called us probably an hour after my mom passed to schedule a time to pick up the equipment. The funeral home wasn't even there at that time. They thankfully let me schedule the pick up for a week after but it would have been nice if they could have given at least a day for the families to grieve before having to think about logistics like equipment pick up.

Terrible company. The hospice for my Mom uses this place and their services are terrible. I think I had one decent pick up with no issues. The rest of their drivers are incompetent. They also had the never to request pick up while my Mom was still lying dead on the hospital bed while we were waiting on the cremation pick up. Ridiculous company.

We have used medical equipment from Advacare for several years.
The techs who come out to deliver/repair/pickup, have all been kind, compassionate and knowledgeable.
We've been very happy with them.

I can't imagine a worse experience than the one I recently had with AdvaCare. My father was dying and needed a hospital bed. AdvaCare provided one but the mattress had bedbugs. That was bad enough but AdvaCare refused to come and pick up the infested mattress until Dad's retirement facility brought in an exterminator and eliminated the bedbugs. This was extremely stressful to our family. AdvaCare accepted no accountability for its harmful actions.

Great delivery but not the best products for Hospice Patients

Advacare delivery was outstanding!! I was so impressed how quickly equipment came to our home when the hospice nurse ordered it. Drivers were very professional and caring. So thankful for the kindness and help from the delivery gentlemen. I would recommend Advacare services and equipment.

Advocate scheduled a 4 hour window to pick up their equipment and never called to notify us of them not coming. We had to call them. Then after rescheduling a definite time they called to change it. With needing to make funeral arrangements it was very disheartening that we were pushed back. They actually wanted to pick up the equipment while the deceased was still in in. Very unprofessional equipment company. If I could give zero stars I would just for the inconsideration. Equipment was good

This firm phoned our home 10 minutes after my father passed, and over 1 hour before he was officially pronounced dead. They subsequently cancelled 3 equipment pick up appointments, leaving my mother to sit in her bedroom and stare at an empty hospital bed. Very good at getting equipment on site, very discompassionate in removing equipment.
