If you are a student, this is the place where you buy everything. Lots of fresh groceries along with some other stuff one would need to live during their studies. Everything is pretty cheap and reliable here, you can't go wrong.

None of the employees work the cash registers on a normal basis so you are forced to use self checkout frequently. If you withdraw cash at the self checkout, you cannot control how the bills are generated and no employee can open a register to make change. As a result of the priority in forcing you to use self checkout, you are then stopped at the door to see if you paid for all items. It is anti-consumer and insulting to be treated this way when you are paying them for the items, scanning it for them because they refuse to hire people to do it, and bagging your own groceries again because they refuse to internalize an external cost. Take your business elsewhere if possible.

I wanted to exchange something because the item I had bought was defective. I did not need to exchange money or anything just let them have the defective item back and grab a new one. They would not do that for me and it was only one minute after 10:00 pm

Went here to try on swimsuits today. Had to walk through nearly half the store 4 different times just trying to try on 2 items. The fitting room attendant was super rude and was literally rolling her eyes at my daughter and I when she had to come back over the second time. Not to mention I don't know what kind of uniform Walmart requires, but this woman was wearing some sort of flowy skirt or pants with giant red flowers all over them and a red shirt. Definitely wouldn't have recognized her as a Walmart employee if it hadn't been for the badge. Then, after we had already tried on one swimsuit and brought a second one over, she tried telling us Walmart doesn't allow people to try on swimwear??? Like what? Because that makes sense. Honestly just seemed like she really didn't want to do her job. Hire better employees, Walmart. Such a shame.

Southern Illinois Walmart, where there are always more people than teeth and all employees have doctorate degrees in their respective department. My favorite is the Deli MD.

Be careful of what you buy from the clearance section here. I literally just bought broken glass, not realizing it was broken, and cut myself up pretty good when opening it. Was meant to be a mug for Father's Day. Yay me ☹️
