Very rude workers. Talks on the phone the entire time, pops gum in your ear the entire time, ignores you when you ask a question. Have people training on your head. Do not do what was asked to your head. Snags and hurts your head while braiding it. Lies and tell you the owner will be in but never comes. I will never patronize that business and have the nerve to be in my neighborhood. I will let others know not to go there. For $200 it should be better but it is not. The very worst experience I have had was at that place. You could not pay me to go back.

I took my daughter to this shop for feed ins, my daughter felt the lady who did her hair pull her hair when my daughter moved. When my daughter took her hair down she had a big bald spot in her hair. I told her my teen daughter who is in high school was crying because she now has a bald spot in the back of her head. It’s sad that these shops don’t do anything to rectify the situation. Shade needs to talk to the woman who did my daughter feed ins. This is unacceptable! I will never never recommend this place!

I called on Easter at the last minute. The lady at the back took me in , offer me something to drink. They accommodate me and I was in a wheelchair. I would recommend Braids by shade to anyone, they do a wonderful job and braid fast.

I only go here to get my small Knotless braids done. Shade (pronounced like the singer Sade’ I think lol. That’s how I pronounce it ) She is fast and my braids are always beautiful. I’ve had my daughters hair braided as well by the other braider that sits in back left chair (when you walk in) I always call last minute and she always gets me in. I’m very picky with who I allow in my head and theyDo an excellent job.

I 100% do not recommend this place for multiple reasons. 1) I asked for mid back length knotless braids with curls at the end and provided a picture for reference which she said she could do. I trusted the process and was disappointed in the end. I went to look in the mirror and the braids were not full, barely even reached my mid back, did not have curls at the end, the braids were loose, and the parts were messy. I was still Charged $200 for something that wasn't even close to what I asked for. 2) Not even a week later the braids started to look multiple months old. 3) I had arrived at the same time as another girl, I over heard her say that she wanted knotless goddes box braids, she got finished with her braids before me and when the little girl got up I noticed that the lady gave her regular box braids (with knots). 4) the seats were really uncomfortable, mind you I was sitting down for 5+ hours.Services: Box Braids
