We just love taking our cars to Route 66. The owner is super involved in the business and is reliable and honest. There have been things he has told me you can change this out if you want, but it still has good life in it - it given the age/milage of the vehicle I wouldn't recommend doing this or that - essentially talking himself out of more business because he values having an honest business. You will love this place and their "treat you like family" approach to business. Always fair and always up front.

Rafael (the owner) is such a nice guy. He os honest about what needs immediate repair and what you should watch but is not urgent and can wait. He has done an excellent job repairing my car for a fair price several times over the past two years. Will definitely be going back and I recommend him!

Had a wonderful experience with Route 66 recently. They are just a few blocks from me and I had heard about them for ages, but usually when I tell people about them I hear they are very busy. So I was a little worried when I called that I might not be able to get in for a long time, but the girl who took my information quickly called me back and said that their mechanic was concerned that my issue was safety-related (a broken strut) and wanted to repair it right away. Not only did they get my part delivered to them the very same day I called, but they got my car up and running immediately (within 24 hours). The other thing I really appreciated was that the previous place I had taken my car to be looked at did not tell me that you typically want to replace struts in pairs (they were going to replace just the broken one). Route 66 explained to me that because my car was seven years old, replacing only one strut did not make sense because typically (unless the car is very new) you want to replace them in pairs. I really appreciated them going the extra mile to explain this to me and also let me know that I really needed an alignment as well (which I could tell I needed the way it was pulling to one side). The experience with the office (Alexis) was great. Super communication and follow-up. And my car drove really nicely when I got it back. Very happy and will be bringing my car back in the future!

I am grateful to have found this honest, reasonable repair shop. We've taken cars here a few times & unlike some other places, they don't try to sell you repair work you don't need. They are very nice and responsive too. They can get busy & you sometimes have a wait to get in, but worth the wait.

Just went for an oil change, but they checked my car out and said it didn't need anything else. If I went to the dealer they would have found a long list of parts that needed repairing. Very nice people too.

Horrible experience. I had a 10am appointment for an oil sensor level replacement. did not leave the place until 2:20pm. Staff consistently lied to me about the time it takes to replace the sensor, but how ignorant are they when labor is printed on the receipt. I will never be back. 8/26/21.

This place is great. They are honest, reliable and they know how to fix cars the right way. I have also found their pricing to be more reasonable than other repair places. I have been using them for several years now and have never had a bad experience.

I have no words to describe how caring everyone in Route 66 Auto Repair is. They also do a marvelous work. I was first impressed with their work and the quality. They do what is need it. They work with you. Honesty is important to them and me. Few months after they worked in my 2001 Honda. Which by the way runs like new.Had to go to the dealership for a recall. After they were done. The car had nothing that they could come up with. I can't thank them enough. As I said there are no words how to write how good this place is.

My wife and I recently moved to the area, so we were looking for a new mechanic to help with some repairs. I'm so grateful to have found Rafael's auto shop! Nicole and Rafael got me a same day appointment and walked me through all the things I requested be checked. Rafael also showed me the underside of the vehicle and mentioned some things that I could do optionally and to keep an eye on, but nothing urgent. Not only an honest person, but very friendly and personable. He offered me a ride home while he worked on my vehicle and Nicole let me know when it was ready for pickup. That's what I call some amazing customer service! I'll be doing all of my servicing with Rafael and recommending them to all our friends and family. All servicing with Route 66 comes with a 2 year roadside assistance service as well, can't beat that - Best, Charlie

Shop is good only for basic oil change, maybe..In my opinion they do bad diagnostics, just fixing everything, witch not solves a problems, but keeps your valet thin.. Would not recommend ..

I was looking for a reasonable quote on new brake pads and roters. My car had been serviced at the dealer and a few other items were quoted, at high prices of course, and not completely explained. My husband recommended Route 66 after they helped with a tail light that went out in our other car. I found their bid to be very competitive, they were able to get me in the next day, and they picked me up and drove me home while my car was being serviced. (I live within a mile). Not only did their work get done quickly, they were able to fix two other, minor, issues without additional cost. It was all explained to me upon pickup. I was so happy to find this great shop and will be a long-term customer!
