“Tom at the Lake Zurich Rental center really helped me out. I was planning on renting a sewer rodding machine because my shower was backing up. After listening to my issue tom suggested the issue was in my septic field. Turns out I took the cover off and the tank was totally full. Tom chose to help me solve my problem over the phone instead of just trying to rent me a piece of equipment. I will think of this rental department whenever I need another tool to rent. I decided to go to the Glenview Home Depot so I could see the Refrigerator and Dishwasher. He spent much time with me explaining and answering my questions. He is a cheerful person and I could tell he liked his job. You are lucky to have such an employee! I give 5 Stars to Mike and I look forward to working with him if I should need a washer & dryer. I refuse to shop at your biggest competitor as their prices are too high and they charge fees for every little thing! “I don’t go to Home Depot a lot but all the times I’ve been to this location I’ve always had a good experience. I don’t remember names but this really nice guy helped me pick out outdoor lights and made sure I got the right ones and the younger blonde girl at self checkout is always so so so nice”
“I went in today looking for some paint for my basement floor and the lady who helped me was so personable. I think her name was Sofie. She explained the benefits of the different options I had and helped me figure out exactly how much paint I needed. You need more people like Sofie at every Home Depot. Hopefully she sees this and if she does thank you so much Sofie you made a confusing trip a fun and informative one.”

“Only reason why I give Home Depot 4/5 Stars is due to their unwillingness (on a corporate level) to accept NFC Payments (Apple Pay, etc.).
For the record… at this point, ALL three of Home Depot’s direct big-box competitors; Lowe’s, Menards, and Ace Hardware; accept Apple Pay. HD is one of the few-remaining retail companies who continue to take this stubborn stance.
I know this is a corporate issue, but it’s still a bit ridiculous that there are places where I can’t pay with my digital wallet in 2024.
Otherwise, great selection, clean store, and friendly service. The usual to be expected at HD. ?”
“there was a lot of new items and I really like the plant section as I am I have a gardener however, I did notice that there wasn't a lot of selection when it came to stones and towels that I could use in my garden and this was kind of disappointing, especially due to the high rates of drought that are known to be occurring in our area sometimes during the summer but nonetheless, I was very happy with the plant selection and the selection of sand available in this establishment store”
