My experience recovering from shoulder surgery has been harder than I expected. However, Abbey (and the other PTs and staff) encouraged me at every step. Abbey pushed me to work harder and at the same time was the best cheerleader. Scheduling was always easy and the gym environment comfortable. I’m grateful that I chose to rehab at Athletico in Bolingbrook and recommend it 100%!

Abbey, Jennifer, Nem and Dami rocked! After four months in a cast, they got me walking, taking baths and doing yoga. They are one-on-one and adjust the exercises to your specific needs. Great support staff and very easy to get appointments quickly. Love the vibes here. Best part is ringing the bell when you graduate.

Awesome front desk staff and PTs (Tom and Abby). They helped give me the tools to keep neck symptoms at bay and promote neck/spine health. Couldn't ask for a better experience from start to finish.

The team at Athletico is absolutely amazing! They really are wonderful at listening to your concerns and addressing your symptoms effectively to get you back to your usual activity. It was helpful for me to have a safe recovery plan lead by knowledgeable physical therapists. A big thank you to Tom, Amy, Jennifer, Abbey, and Andrew for all of your help getting me back to my best self!

I just finished my rehab at Athletico (Bolingbrook) and would strongly recommend this team to others.The front desk was courteous, friendly, and efficient.The physical therapists were thorough in explaining what needed to be done and why. Their initial diagnosis and estimated rehab time was spot on. Most importantly they cared about my progress and our shared common goal of “graduating”!

Everyone was so friendly, helpful and compassionate with me when dealing with all my back issues. I walked in day one hunched over and by the last therapy I walked out with a pep in my step. I loved and appreciated how knowledgeable Tom was when dealing with all my issues. He helped me with a home game plan to strengthen my weakness.

Amy is OUTSTANDING as a therapist. After 2+ months of work for an arthritic hip, I can walk normally and have been able to delay surgery. Amy is well prepared in providing me challenging exercises.Seli and the front desk staff (Jaden & Rebecca) at the Bolingbrook location are wonderful. They are so friendly and helpful and were very thorough in managing my PT schedule.

After being treated for 5+ years for a career ending hand/wrist injury at Athletico with their Occupational therapist, I can’t say enough great things about Ryan. He’s been a pleasure to work with, always listening to my personal feedback and helping me tailor my sessions to address the issues. Helped me meet my strength training, conditioning goals as well as how to manage my CRPS nerve pain on a daily basis best as possible, and coming up with home exercises to continue therapy. If you’re looking for a good OT I’d highly recommend meeting with Ryan.

So many positives about my experience with Tom Komperda and the staff at Athletico Bolingbrook. I came to Tom with a back issue that had been ailing me for a few years and under his guidance and expertise, I have seen dramatic improvements in just a couple of months time. I highly recommend Tom and the staff at Athletico Bolingbrook if you are looking for solutions to your injuries with a conservative, yet highly effective approach.

My daughter saw Ryan Steinberger at the Bolinbrook location due to a hand injury (finger fracture). Another office actually referred him to us and I must say I’m glad they did. Ryan did not disappoint. Sessions with him reflects his knowledge and passion about what he does. He kept us informed about the plan of care by making sure we knew what he was going to do and why he was going to doit. My daughter hand is back to full functioning. I definitely recommend!!

I needed OT, Ryan was amazing at understanding my needs, he was very accommodating and encouraging during the whole process. We always had a good chat and the appointment time was fun. Great staff and nice facility. I appreciate every member of the team that helped me. Keep up !

Incredibly thankful for Tom, Jennifer, and the rest of this staff.They are very accommodating and genuinely great people to be with in a time of need.Being injured or in pain often makes you not the greatest of patients, physical therapy is physically and emotionally difficult at times. But this team rises above and beyond the expectations. I never left a session without feeling secure and optimistic of my progress than I did walking in and it was usually with a smile on my face due to this team.If you are ever unfortunate enough to need physical therapy, this is the place to be.
