I took my car to Mark’s Auto today and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and attentive to my needs. I work on my own cars typically but I stripped a screw that is located under the car. I couldn’t for the life of me get it off. Mark’s Auto was more than willing to help me out and they got it done in a timely manner.
Overall, I highly recommend Mark’ Auto to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy auto repair services no matter how big or small the job is!

Have used this service when it was owned by Jerry and was always impressed. Now that it is Mark's i returned and was equally impressed with their service and honest estimates. This is my go to place.

Recommended by a neighbor. My issue with my 11 yr old car was totally resolved. Drives and sounds like it hasn't in many years. I will never go anywhere else for car service and highly recommend you do the same. Thanks guys!

Only place I’ll come to for my car’s maintenance! I had to get my flywheel replaced, which is a big job. They took care of my car, had her up and running better than ever in a timely manner, and worked with me when it came to paying for the repair. 10/10, recommend.

I gave these guys a challenge replacing a clutch in a Honda S2X. After a couple of the bugs were worked out, my car is shifting smooth again. They kept me posted on the process during the repair which I really appreciated! Sooo, based on my experience, I would highly recommend Mark's Auto. Also, Vern deserves a huge raise....Thanks Guys!

Being a new resident in Belvidere, I had no knowledge of auto repair services to complete my auto repairs. I contacted a few repair shops and when I spoke with Pete at Mark's Auto Repairs, we discussed what was occurring with my vehicle. He told me the process they would have to go through to come to a diagnosis and would not complete any repairs without my approval. After coming to a diagnosis, Pete contacted me to discuss the repairs, time expected to complete the repairs, and the cost. I gave him the go ahead and the repairs were completed on the expected time. Not only were the repairs completed, they gave me a ride home and picked me up when the repairs were done. From the initial phone call to completion, Pete made my experience very pleasant. We all dread dealing with repair shops, but working with Pere and Marks Auto Repairs, it was great. I would definitely recommend if you need auto repairs, Mark's Auto Repairs is the place to go. You will not be sorry for making thst choice.

Back at the end of last year I noticed I was leaking oil really bad. I went into Midas since they had changed the oil last and was quoted over $1,400 on a repair. Looking for a second opinion I called Mark’s and described my issue and asked for a quote. To my surprise I was told they wouldn’t give a price without first looking over the vehicle to ensure that’s what actually needed to be fixed. I brought it in and after they looked it over they found that the oil filter was loose. The car was cleaned up, filter tightened and I was told to bring it back at my next oil change and they would investigate further if needed without a single charge. When I came back once again, the filter was loose and I was almost out of oil. It was suggested we change the oil and see if the filter was faulty since the leak was coming from that area. I had Pete’s team preform an oil change on my car for a reasonable price and was told to bring it back the following week to check the status. Well I am excited to say that my car is leak free! The attention to detail, knowledge of their craft, caring and respectful way they treat their clients is why I will now only be going there for my auto needs. They weren’t out trying to scam their customers but instead told customers not to preform work that wasn’t needed. I can’t thank your team enough for all of the help. Also your waiting room is very welcoming!

I came in on the awesome appointment website. My suspension and brakes and tires were a mess. Pete was able to work with me and Len the mechanic was able to save my calipers. So the whole bill was significantlyreduced.Quickresponse,accurate diagnosis, flexibility on pricing, and a free loaner overnight. Thank you so much.
