“I cannot say enough about the service I received here. It is increasingly difficult to find a mechanic with integrity and who will not take advantage that I'm a clueless car owner. Always takes the time to explain, walk through the issues and trouble shooting. Provides clear and consistent information, and even has informed me when no work was needed even though I was SURE it did. I will never take my car anywhere else and travel quite a bit to get there. Thank you!”

“This place was so wonderful it made me want to review a gas station for the first time ever. I took my young daughter in to go to the bathroom and they were spotless. She saw some hair bands that she liked and the cashier gave her a little s***** because she was so polite to him. They were cleaning when I walked in and the place looks like they clean it all the time. Unlike a lot of gas stations I thought the prices were very reasonable.”

“Gas is always lower than anywhere else here. The people that own it are very very nice. Being a woman and in a gas station that makes it more comfortable. I surely appreciate The kindness and the patience From the employees.”

“I've been a Whitt Bros customer since 1985 and can easily echo all of the positive comments made by their other customers. When purchasing a new car a few years ago, I had to go back to the dealer in order to get its "in-house" warranty which ended-up saving me nothing. It sure feels good to be back at WBG...The House of Friendly Service. AND, I can't beat the value!”

“PEQUEÑO LOCALE This Puerto Rican restaurant isn't on most people's radar, but it should be. Borikén is one of the most well-hidden places I've been to in recent memory. Tucked behind a shady liquor store and BP gas station on Galena Blvd in downtown Aurora, there's not much to say about this total hole-in-the-wall joint other than the food is terrific. The dining room is small and there isn't much seating to speak of, but you can still eat your meal inside if you feel like it; the last 3-4 times we've opted for carryout and that's suited us just fine. The employees are pretty nice from what I can recall. They have tasty 'frituras' (fried stuff) on the menu, including 'alcapurrias' (stuffed fritters), empanadillas, 'rellenos de papa' (potato croquettes), and 'amarillos' (sweet plantains). They're $2.75 each, I recommend getting a few to try. My wife loves their 'mofongo de churrasco' (mashed plantains w/skirt steak, $14) and our little guy enjoys the 'arroz blanco y habichuelas' (white rice & beans, $5). The beans - which are super flavorful - are more akin to a soup or stew, not that pasty glue-like mush other places serve. I'm a big fan of their 'jibarito de pernil' ($10), a sandwich made with roasted pork, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo-ketchup between two garlic fried plantains. I've had this Puerto Rican specialty at a few places now, though none have been better than Borikén's. Bread = 4.5 Circuses = n/a They don't serve alcohol, so those hoping for a Bacardi cocktail, piña colada, or even a cold can of Medalla will be disappointed. They do have desserts on the menu like flan and 'quesitos' (sweet cheese fritters), but they might not be available 24/7. * TL;DR * Borikén is both small & local, which could be a reason why they've endeared themselves to our family. With the closure of Caribbean Corner in Downers Grove (R.I.P.), there are very few restaurants in the western Chicago suburbs that serve food from my wife's homeland (Jibaritos on Harlem in Oak Park, and Cuisine de Jibarito in Melrose Park are the only places that spring to mind). The location isn't great by any means....you could easily drive by two or three times and not know where the hell to find Borikén, even if you're actively looking for it! The interior is super light on ambiance (aside from a tiny Puerto Rican flag) but they care about food, not vibes. Man, I wish 4-1/2 stars were a viable option. I can't tell you how many times I've found myself stuck on the fence, wondering if I should give a place the benefit of the doubt or accept that some restaurants excel in certain areas (like food quality) while being slightly deficient in others. I'd definitely recommend Borikén, and I'm sure we'll be ordering from them again in the next month or so. I can't kick the 'jibarito' habit, nor do I ever want to.”

“Went here for a petrol and a car wash, I thought everything was kosher until the car wash stopped working midway through! With my car soaking wet and covered in soap I thought “what will I do!” So I called them… and they said they’d be right out, and lo and behold two kind men who come out and finish the job, hand washing my car with nothing but smiles! And to top it all off they gave me CASH refund right there on the spot!!! Bp gas station owners, I owe you my life.”

“I love a place that you can go that's nice and clean. The bathroom was in order. The floors was clean, it was brightly lit. And the customer service was very professional. Of course the gas is high. But that don't have anything to do with the establishment. I am talking about the gas station itself. Of course you say it's a gas station. It's not a gas station it is a business. That's dealing with customers. Your first priority should be for your customer. That's how the company makes money. The manager at this gas station teachers the employees. Great cleaning, a coordination, and sanitation. Keep up the great work.”

“7-11 seems to have most things you can't find late at night. Say I need jumping cables at 2:00 a.m. or a last min gift because you forgot your wife's birthday. Well I know I can find it here. And that's why I love my neighborhood 7-11. Now don't forget the staff unlike other stores they are always seem to have a smile for you and willing to help in any way possible. If you have a question you can ask them and they will be willing to help, you don't feel like you are a bother to them.”

“Decent pizza for a great price. The food here is pretty good, I specifically like their cheesy garlic bread. Their pizzas are very cheap but the quality is great which is something I love. 5 pizza is a perfect choice when your too lazy to cook, but too cheap to spend $10+ on a pizza. This is a place you should definitely check out, btw their boneless wings are amazing as well. This place is a definite must.”

“I had a fantastic experience at the 7/11 gas station! The staff was friendly and efficient, and the prices were reasonable. The convenience of grabbing snacks and drinks while filling up my tank was a plus. I'll definitely be returning for all my fuel and convenience store needs. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Under new management, they got rid of the misleading gas price with car wash and without car wash. They now advertise the same price for both, bravo! Their gas price is now competitive with the Shell down the road. Mucho kudos.”

“Man a lot of the people in this 7/11 are pretty scary. I gotta hand it to the business for hanging in there despite the rough crowd they bring in. Some of the things I've seen include: - Customers yelling across the store to ask how much milk is - Wandering lunatics - People hogging the counter playing the lottery - So many sweatpants! - People smoking crack in the parking lot I think someone was also shot here. So kudos to the 7-11 for keeping their doors open.”

The donuts were displayed in a neat and clean manner. DD has nothing on these donuts. Ask for Linda if she's there she's always helpful.”
