The negative reviews on this site are because people do not understand how CPAP and insurance work.Advanced Sleep Therapy is a solid company and every time I need a CPAP part they get it to me ASAP. They educate me on what insurance covers, so I always make the most cost-effective purchase.Customer forever.

I was a patient of Advance Sleep Therapy, and in truth, I left the practice solely because I live very far from their offices. I went thru two other very inferior practices and gladly jumped back to Advanced Sleep after I realized the superior level of care I lost. Staff and individualized care made them worth the trip!I now sleep far better and am a loyal client.

From the outset, AST has been great in fitting, explaining and supporting my use of a CPAP device. Fast forward 5+ years, and they're still my go-to: friendly, helpful and professional in helping me get the most out of this little miracle. Horrible customer service and unnecessary attitude! Since when a patient is not allowed to ask a question about their bill? I didn’t even get to talk!What waste of time, I don’t tank I have ever dealt with such rude person in my life! I am beyond words..

I got diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea in 2016, and was promptly prescribed a CPAP. After an insurance change my doctor sent me to Advanced Sleep Therapy, and I have been with them since then. They were incredible with helping me on the setup and proper usage of the CPAP machine, and ordering new supplies is very easy, especially with the emailed reminders. The staff are wonderful, and very easy to communicate with, and I am so grateful to them for all the help they have given me with my CPAP.

I cannot understate how happy I am with the customer service of advanced sleep therapy. I am visiting Chicago for the week but my CPAP nasal cushion did not make it on the flight due to my own error. I called advanced sleep therapy for assistance in getting a new nasal cushion delivered to my hotel so I would not have to have another night of sleeplessness. Within an hour they were on the phone with me give me a reasonable quote and by early afternoon the new nasal Quetion was delivered to me

I bought cpap supplies and they were very helpful in finding exactly what I needed. They also gave me their online store price which is cheaper than the in office price which they didn't need to do.

Horrible customer service. My insurance and I were billed for four items several weeks ago, yet only received three. I've emailed multiple times for an explanation and finally received a reply this morning stating they have already responded to my inquiry and I can call them for explanation. I prefer any explanation in writing. A response was NEVER received. This was a complete lie. They have ignored my requests for explanation. Why didn't their response this morning provide me proof of previous response if there was one, or simply repeat the explanation? Because it's a lie. I asked for copies of replies and of course, have received nothing. Because there are none. The saddest part of this is that the email was from one of the founders.

I had an excellent experience with Advanced Sleep Therapy and looking forward to working with them. I’m a new patient that required a CPAP, my Dr ordered my equipment from this facility. During my appointment to pick up the equipment I was not rushed, the gentleman John that took care of me was extremely patient, explained how to use and clean the equipment, he took his time answering all my questions and helped me find my mask to start my treatment. Last night was my first night using the equipment I had a couple questions this morning so I called and left a message, my phone call was promptly returned and again I never felt rushed or that I was inconveniencing them during my call.I’m very happy with my service so far, I would highly recommend them to anyone. John is a great asset to your team.

It was such a pleasure to meet with Caryn and John of Advanced Sleep Therapy. I was referred to them by my physician and was delighted to visit their beautiful practice. They were kind, professional and patient with me as they walked me through the entire process of how to use my new CPAP and being sure my mask fit perfectly. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is in need of a CPAP machine.

This company is up to something and not anything that is good. You purchase equipment, yet they charge you rental fees. What their billing charges on rental fees is different then they place in writing, or in other words they charge as they please. They offer a 30 day mask fit guarantee which I assumed is if mask #1 does not work, you get another one at no charge. You do get another one but there is a charge. And they then bill more as they stated they made an error and did not charge enough. Jody who is the billing person, she has no idea what is going on and you have to repeat many times to her and she still has no understanding on the billing except to state, our bills are difficult to understand. No, it is they just bill want ever they please and ignore all their paperwork. The tech for fitting the mask is a good person and knows how to fit the mask, but has no training from the manufacturer on how the machine works, the errors and faults of the machine.

Was told certain CPAP equipment ordered would be free and covered by insurance. It was not. Didnt realize for multiple months my MRA was charged hundreds of dollars. When I called in I was told a manager would follow up with me. They never did. I called back months later and asked to be taken off call list. Wasn't asked why. I inquired if there was any notation of my complaint. Representative told me no. Representative took me off call list and simply moved along with their day with no sympathy or even attempt to solve anything.

This place is super clean! We are all very anxious with COVID-19 creating our new normal, especially just the thought of walking into a medical center.No worries here: the staff was masked, I was the only patient in the office, they had Plexiglas barriers between myself and the therapist, also hand sanitizers everywhere.Very friendly staff.

John one of the "Owners" is a straight out bully. There is something wrong with my CPAP machine I think because of the poor cell reception in my area and he yelled at me on the phone never to call them about it again there is still over 12 months on the warranty.I think that before you sell somebody a machine that relies on cell service that the manufacturer of that machine selects they should check with you to see how your cell service in your area. The literature says you have to have at least two bars, I can't get more than one bar unless I drive someplace else and plug the machine in.The other issue they should have disclosed before selling me the machine is that they'll only take PayPal from clients. This means you relinquish your credit card rights and protections. To me there is something shady about a company this large who doesn't have a standard merchant account.They make multiple mistakes on orders of equipment, do not ship orders on a timely basis, and generally are just frustrating to work with. Their receptionist Karen, is wonderful to work with.The problem is I've posted to my local neighborhood bulletin board and nobody else has any recommendations of any Company better that works with insurance companies. Is it that this industry has you as prisoner once they've sold you a machine because you have to get your supplies from them? Something needs to change!

I switched to Advanced Sleep Therapy after dealing with another service for about eight years. I loved working with my longtime respiratory therapist and was hesitant to change. They moved her to another location, so that took the only positive out of the equation. I had supply orders never delivered. I had an order placed in November It was not mailed or billed until after January 1. I had to pay 100% instead of zero because a new year means a new deductible. After my physician recommended that I switch to Advanced Sleep Therapy, I gave them a call. They suggested that I switched to a new CPAP and showed me how to use it. I have slept better than I ever did with my previous unit. Advanced Sleep Therapy is the best provider in the area! I am grateful to my physician for his recommendation.
