Dr. Eileen is beyond amazing! She is so gentle and caring with my kitties, and we all know how difficult it is to put our cats in a carrier and bring them to the vet. She makes every visit calm and easy. I couldn't ask for a better doctor for those loved ones who are most important in the world to me.

Dr. Kelly was patient with our difficult dog and was able to form a bond with him on the very first visit. The ladies at the desk were so kind and welcoming.

The staff here from the front desk to the assistants to the veterinarians all treat your fuzzy babies with love, care, support, and understanding. I have cats that don’t care much for the carrier and the visit. The doctors that see my cats are like cat whisperers. They manage to get everything done in a way that calms my cat (and me too). So grateful for Dundee Animal Hospital. Don’t look anywhere else.

Dog cleanings increased to $2,500 and the staff is disrespectful Now! Went here to see Dr. Obrien who is now out on leave. Loved her and was already nervous to not see her. I spent $1,300 for one dog to get his teeth cleaned every year and spent a lot on my other dog for his check ups yearly. My dog had a Infected tooth. As a dental hygienist I brush him and scale his teeth in-between professional cleaning. Wow I got ripped off $550 to see a new doctor that only had 2 days avaliable in Elgin in the next 2 months or I could go to Dundee to another unknown doctor. The staff never told me I would have to go to Elgin or was limited to 2 days. I also told them I had medication for dental from his last cleaning. They still charged me and bait and switched me into buying them. Don't worry the older receptionist told me with the wig, It's only $35. She should pay it then. Of the 2 dates given, I was leaving the country in 3 days after. I said the Dr. stated there's always a risk of jaw fracture. He was nice and kind. She said NO! Who said that, YOU are overreacting. Excuse me? I should have left then but I needed antibiotics. That will be $550. Then I asked 2 times both the staff and doctor... when was his last exam and blood work under a year correct? No answer. I got a estimate saying a day later beacuse I assume their new grading scale to take advantage of clients.... is shockingly ,$1,000 to $2,000 for a 3.4 pound dog that needs 4 teeth that are wobbling back and forth extracted and 5 teeth cleaned. Keep in mind I helped the vet do the exam $130, the new vets I called $75, $45 and wrapped him beacuse he could not wrap a fragile dog in a blanket lol. Opened his mouth to show him the 10 teeth left and the 4 that I want pulled. Keep In mind I went to college for Dental hygiene. So their fees went up 150% in one year? Selling me Laser, meds I don't need and wiggle room of a $1,000???? BS! I called our old vet farther away. At the most a cleaning and full mouth exts are $1,000!!! oh and my exam is $45. Shockingly they have more then 2 days avaliable and talk to me with respect. I really feel taken advantage of after I called 3 other vets and their prices were not even close to this!! Shame on you! Don't worry after I spend $2,500. I can come back a month later for a yearly check up starting at $135 for his exam and exemption letter. Seriously I just started working 3 months ago from being in the hospital. I really got ripped off.

I called to set up an appointment for my birds for their regular nail trims. The lady answers the phone and she's like oh Dr. Obrien is on leave and we don't know when she's coming back. I said leave when did she go on leave? APRIL THIS YEAR! SO NO ONE DECIDED THAT THEY SHOULD NOTIFY HER PATIENTS THAT THEY MAY NEED A TEMPORARY NEW VET???? IN 5 MONTHS NO ONE THOUGHT TO SEND A NEWSLETTER OR AN EMAIL OR ANYTHING???? NOR DID THEY HAVE ANY REFERRALS FOR ANY OTHER AVIAN VET IN THE AREA??? THEY JUSR SAID CALL DUNDEE. Unbelievable

Our recent experience with our last visit was inexcusable. I would like information of who I can speak with regarding this situation.

Great veterinarians and cordial people. Alittle pricey but the responsiveness to your needs helps that. Would recommend this animal hospital.

Dr. Christenson was fantastic. Informative, caring, friendly and extremely thorough. After months of trying to diagnose my pet's health issue with another veterinarian/animal hospital, Dr. Christenson and his team uncovered the problem within a single visit. Also, the cleanest vet clinic I've ever visited and the only veterinarian that is transparent, up front, with cost and options.

Bad bad vet all they want is money money money. Bad service rude staff . Blame people that they don't show up. False! Want upfront money. Unnecessary procedures to add more money. Probably dumped thousands of dollars here. I'm definitely finding new vet. So rude horrible staff. Beware!
