Update 9/13/24 I attempted to be an I attempted to be a Repeat customer today. It did not go as planned! The salesman at this place are ridiculous in my opinion as once I did not accept the “deal” the salesman got up and left his desk pouting like a toddler. For me, this place has fulfilled every nightmare you hear about dealerships. I will not go there for service nor will I recommend to any of my friends or family them for vehicles or automotive services. Update 2/8/23- 2nd service. Desk helper was not friendly or polite at all. Ask them to check my right rear strut while it was in there for oil change and he came out and pushed on my trunk, made the car go up and down and said “bounces just fine”. Came to pick the car up after they called, asked if they rotated the tires and was told “no” the service oil changes do not come with a tire rotation and that it would be an extra charge, this conflicts with what I was told last time “ we ALWAYS rotate tires with oil changes unless the customer tells us not to”.

Matthew Hilger is PHENOMENAL!
After asking me what I was looking for and then showing me some possible choices, we found exactly what I was looking for. Buying a new vehicle these days has lots of details that need to be covered but Matthew walked me through all of them and made it such a smooth process.
He even installed the upgraded floor mats while we worked with the finance guy!
Who does that!!

Very Poor Services, They had my vehicle for several days, did not make contact when they said they would. I needed my truck so I had to go back and pick it up and schedule another time to drop it off. I dropped it off the day they were available. I was charged for a part that was never installed. Now I am questioning if they really did anything to my truck when they had it. Now I have to find another time to be without my vehicle in order to get things worked out. Worst experience I have had in a long time. I wonder how often they charge for services and parts that are never done. ... Do not take your vehicles here!!

Steve’s Hometown Service Center saved the day. On a trip from Oregon to Idaho we had a significant issue with our vehicle (under warranty). Tyler in service and others jumped in to come up with the parts and coordinated a rental car for us. Vehicle was repaired and everyone was empathetic to our situation. Would definitely recommend Steve’s Hometown.

I wish this could be a 5 star review. I have been frustrated by the clunky process of purchasing a new vehicle and have no the dealer complete the warranty/protection plans I purchased with financing. I drove out to this dealer since they had the color I wanted. I was provided a loaner car to leave my car over night in ores for them to apply paint, interior and windshield protection. My license plate from my trade was promised to me next day. When I arrived to pick up was told my license plate was still on former vehicle and could be mailed back to me. Then the temp plate was not put in the car so I had to immediately go get it registered before leaving Payette. Then I was callled and told I needed to bring the vehicle back because windshield protection was not applied. Then it was come Thursday, then no sorry Friday. I work full time Monday through Friday and trying to work out how to get the vehicle back out to Payette is a stressor. Although we appreciate the offer to have the salesman drive us out a loaner and pick up the car that creates additional dilemmas. Seems this dealership could get better organized and have better emphasis on improved customer service. I don’t plan on purchasing additional vehicles from this dealership. I’m treated better at Peterson!

We just bought our second vehicle from Steve's HomeTown Chevrolet, Isaac Huerta helped us this time and was fantastic. He worked with us finding the perfect truck for for what we need that fit in our budget. He went above and beyond and had a smile on his face the whole time. We will be sending friends and family here when they are looking for a new vehicle!

I absolutely loved working with Santi. I work nights at the hospital so my schedule is difficult but he made it quick, painless, and there was no B.S. He even helped clean out my trade in so I could go home faster and get to work. I will definitely come back again and send friends over!!! Plus I saved thousands coming to them versus a local dealer in Boise! Worth the drive
