Upack turned out to be the ideal mix between saving money and getting enough help to make the job manageable. I was skeptical at first about the whole moving model that they have adopted but I must say I was delighted to find that they do everything they say they're going to do, they do it on time and they have great people backing you up. Everyone from the representatives on the phone to the drivers on the truck were professional, helpful, and nice to work with. The custom personal web page they provide you on the Internet is great! Professional, hard working and didn't leave a mess. They even offered to set up the tv, sound system, give suggestion on where to move pieces of furniture etc. I hired them again a week later to move furniture around and had the same pleasant experience. He sent out his best 2 movers Adam and Zack. The guys moved a kitchen/washroom/bedroom/dining and living room, HUGE furniture!! They worked from 830 to 1145, were exemplary in packing/ storing/ deconstructing. We moved into a storage unit, they unloaded and stored everything beautifully. This business is full of professional down to earth personable individuals who were extremely empathetic to our situation and needs. I will not hesitate to use their services again. Not to mention inexpensive and no hidden fees!”

“I was impressed with the efficiency with which Merchants runs its communications with a possible new customer! The girls at the front desk were very specific in answering the many questions I had about the whole process! I would call them about specific items and they were always willing to shed light on whatever I needed to know! I felt very comfortable asking those ladies at the front desk anything I needed and always knew they would have a positive answer for me!The actual move was also a thing of beauty! The driver, *************************, was recommended to me by my daughters neighbor! **** was awesome from the beginning! He took charge talking to his two helpers about where, how, and what to start the process of moving the contents of my house onto the big truck! I liked that rubber mats were laid down on the stairs, and a path into every room! We didnt wear shoes in our house so I was very relieved to see the care they took to protect my carpet! **** and the two workers worked in sync with each other, never stopped working although talked among themselves but never stopped doing the actual work! There was a good possibility for snow on the route that **** was to take to my destination and found out that he made the decision to drive that same day and into that night to get over the mountain pass before the snow! So, **** worked 16 hours that day and made it to the destination late that night! That shows the seriousness that **** takes his job! **** was very respectful, easy to talk to and he worked as hard next to the two workers, maybe more as he did the paperwork , too!I would definitely recommend Merchants Moving Company to anybody who plans a move! You will be completely happy and completely satisfied!”
