Banner Bank is that something else. They are always friendly. Always welcoming. Always respectful. They have been very helpful to me and my business. They have made my life and business operations so much easier and so much more efficient. “For those of you that are upset about a bank charging to cash your check as a NON-client. You have options. Open an account, or deposit it to your bank. They charge a fee because it is a service we provide, no said you HAD to go in and cash your check. All and I repeat ALL BANKS charge a fee to cash checks. Most charge more than $5. Being that it is a service there is a fee. I used to work in banking and the last thing you need to do is be annoying about a service that a bank charges for. These decisions are made by corporate NOT those at the bank. ALSO Zions didn't start charging a fee until 2016. Credit unions have different rules and regulations. They usually require you to keep a min balance in an account at all times. Guys its really not the banks ripping you off. you don;t get gas, groceries, car wash, daycare, etc for free so why would a bank which is a business be any different???”
“My mom recently has had some banking changes and she does not like to deal with the bots on the phone nor does she know how to navigate the web to log into her account. I've accompanied her on several trips to the Chase branch inside the Fred Meyer and we have had on one interactions with everyone. If Jordan is there, go see her at the teller bank. Jordan is personable and very friendly and so is Natalya. The real MVP is Brianna. She's at one of the desks to assist with account openings and more complicated issues. She was able to help my mom on a number of occasions especially when no one else knew how. Banking is very personal and it takes a special type of person who can provide empathy and at the same time stick with the corporate guidelines such as Chase. Our experiences at this branch with the above listed employees have been nothing short of excellence.”

“I had to go into Umpqua Bank to get a cashiers check. I visited the branch on Eagle Rd. and to my surprise the teller was friendly, experienced and efficient. The bank was virtually empty. The staff was attentive. I admit I rarely go in person anymore since I can do so much online. It's sad to see this bank have such poor reviews, especially when you notice they are 4 years old or more! Give them a chance!”
