I just bought a Tuxedo car lift from Lowes. I was really impressed that it said free delivery. What I missed was that it also said...needs forklift to receive it from the truck....Ooops!
So, I got a call from Tuxedo making sure that I could receive the lift. Turns out I couldn't. Dang it!
Paul from Tuxedo ends up calling Lowes in Idaho Falls and starts the process of trying to get it delivered for me. Paul calls me back and said that the folks he talked with in Idaho Falls (he's from Texas) were so incredible. Burkley and Amber were out of this world!
I had to call Lowes myself and express my gratitude for helping me to get my item. This is exactly the reason I like to write reviews. Great people doing great things for other people. I've been a die-hard fan of Lowes ever since I worked at one years ago. I'll keep coming back.

My wife set up a curbside pick up to get 3 closet doors because we have a 3 year old, a 3 month old, and she had to get them while I was at work. The pick up order said it would be ready on Monday however she kept checking for updates and by 2:00pm after not getting the ready for pick up notification she finally called. She waited on hold after getting automated answering machines for 10 minutes and then when customer service finally answered they were no help and said she would just have to wait. Nothing the rest of the day. She waited till 11:00 am the following morning and then finally decided to just go and get them herself. She made the 40 minute drive and still no updates so she got the kids out, cancelled the pick up order, and had to push the dolly while pulling the kids in a shopping cart. If Idaho falls Lowe's is going to offer the convenience of curb side pick up then they need to actually get orders done. Not impressed with their service, very impressed with my wife however.

Typical big home store. Usually abit higher prices than Home Depot but usually abit better service also.

If you use Google maps for access, don't use Ponderosa Ave. The above photo is what's waiting. Use June Ave right after the funeral home. Space is limited and must be shared with the flatbed. Everything is tight and busy. Use caution, show up at your appointment time, or you'll be turned away.

My husband & I were looking at stackable washer/ dryer units last weekend. Cassie Parkinson was the salesperson who helped us. She was extremely patience & knowledgeable @ each unit & brand. Not something she probably hears everday, but she made buying a washer & dryer a great experience ? !

Unlike their competitor down the road, I can always seem to find someone to point me in the right direction for what I'm looking for. The lumber seems to be of a better quality too. The parking lot is kind of a pain to navigate. Lowe's is where it's at for general home improvement supplies
