We purchased cabinets from Lowes (back in early 2022). The entire process was a disaster and took well over a year due to repeated errors, miscommunications between services, and unwillingness to resolve issues. Lowes requires payment in full upon ordering (and now we know why...because then when things go wrong, you cannot withhold payment until the job is completed to customer satisfaction). Wrong cabinets ordered, extreme delays in shipping and installation, damage to cabinets (upon arrival AND as a result of poor installation). Originally offered $4500 in compensation, but when cabinets ordered incorrectly a SECOND time, Lowe's declined to reorder again and install the correct ones, leaving us with a kitchen that does not meet the terms of the contract, does not have matching cabinetry AND then reduced compensation to $750 while asking us to sign an NDA so that we would not share our experience online. Filed a complaint with BBB and Lowes claimed the matter had been resolved.

This store is so much better to deal with than the Home Depot down the street! We had the best experience with Amanda in customer service. We were having issues with ordering on line and we live almost 3 hours away. My husband talked to Amanda and told her that I had some health issues and he was worried about me having to collect all of the electrical supplies that we needed. This amazing young lady collected all of the supplies for me after finding me a nice comfy chair and a bottle of water. Amanda went above and beyond amazing service!

Horrible experience!! Absolute garbage company on every level! Lowe's doesn't do the job, they hire out a 3rd party 1 Star contractor named Lindberg Construction. They did such a horrible job on a 53,000 deck and closed in a patio with 2 walls . The tape and Sheetrock are popping through the paint, deck completely sinking in the middle and falling apart! Roof leaks into our home, sliding glass doors that we paid 15,000$ for won't open or close and have gaps so large you can see sunlight through the sides and we have to stuff them with insulation through the winter now and can't even use them. Told us repeatedly that they were a multi million dollar company and we would be completely satisfied and Did top notch work. Ha!! Took our money and ran! We have been trying to get somewhere with this company for a year and a half. We are working with corporate Lowe's now who won't return phone calls emails or do a thing. To help us! We have resorted to contacting the BBB and State attorney generals office. The deck.... He dropped of his unsupervised kid to build the deck we paid LOWES to do! Closed off our backyard completely with a deck that was nothing like we asked for. Seats so thin you can't even sit in them, railing we had to take down just so we can use them. Storage four made so small can't even use it. If I wanted a teenage kid to do the work I would have asked a neighbor kid to do it and paid him a tenth of the cost! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Worse experience ever! Spent $50,000 on a garbage job! He took 2 Vacations in the middle of our job. 2-3 week quote lasted 3 months. Complaining the entire time about how much he worked and how he needed a break! Joke contractor that shouldn't have a licens.

I get a 10% veteran's discount. Right at the register. Much better than the "other company's" 11% rebate that you have to mail in to get, a rebate that comes in form of a coupon that you can only use at their store. I have found pretty much everything I need and what I can not find I did not find at the other store either. (I did online ordering from Home Depot). I like their store layout and they do not feel the need to move things around every few months.

I've been to this location a couple of times, and I have always had decent, to pretty good customer service. On one of my last visits... I was helped by Josh who was exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in an area I had no experience with. He was so patient and answering my many questions- and I hope that Lowes is paying him what he is worth. If he is up for a raise- give it to him! I own my own business, and this is the type of employee that is nearly impossible to find. Thanks for your help, Josh!

The current delivery and setup personnel were outstanding. Taj and his partner hauled away and setup our new washer and dryer. They were exceptionally courteous, took care with making sure no damage was done, and ran our dryer and washer through their first cycle making sure they worked. They were both very personable, happy, and worked well together. The clean up of all packing materials was outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about them. I know that both of them were from out of state but never complained about being away from their families. Good job Lowes in hiring such exceptional employees.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I've ordered a stove and a refrigerator from them and both have arrived damaged (after multiple reschedules on their end) follow up service to fix our issues has been horrible. Extremely rude, dismissive and unresponsive. This is the worst Lowes I've ever experienced.

Our experience with Lowe's Home Improvement contractors has been poor to terrible. Once we ran out of patience with the DIY-quality kitchen remodeling contractor and insisted on corrective action, store management stood by us and made things right. The kitchen contractor, Lindberg Construction of Idaho Falls, could hardly have performed worse. He was unresponsive once he got some money. He didn't show up when he said he would. He didn't inspect the project or his employee's work when it was "done" -- just a brief walk through. So much of the work had to be done over. The Lowe's employee (now gone) who laid out the cabinetry made important mistakes that had to be corrected after we'd lived with it all for a few months -- not the contractor's fault. The remodeling labor was done primarily by one individual, a pleasant fellow with an unpredictable schedule. I had to pay an electrician -- twice -- to correct problems. The new flooring was incorrectly installed in both the kitchen and adjacent bathroom. (Lowe's flooring contractor screwed up flooring in our family room ... a separate project.) In both cases, we've decided to just live with it all so we can move on. The stress has just been too much. In the end, it took more than a year to get things reasonably straightened out. I must say that once we ran out of patience with the kitchen contractor, Lowe's management backed us up firmly, and got Lindberg Construction to act. Lowe's is a good store, with responsive and attentive managers and employees. But the installation contractors ... Beware.

I am beyond impressed with the customer service of Roger in the hardware department. Roger went above and beyond to ensure that we located everything necessary for our project. Our experience at Lowes was phenomenal.

I've tried 5-10 times calling Lowe's but nobody will answer the telephone...lousy customer service bc this happens all the time...ugh!!!

Absolutely atrocious service. We were in the store to buy almost $4,000 worth of appliances and were constantly wandering the store just to find a sales associate. Finally after an hour one showed up. They need more help in the store. I'd love to blame this on COVID but their service has always been atrocious. However once we did get a associate he was awesome they really need to hire more people

Curbside pickup needs improvement. Would not let me check in on app like other stores would allow me, called the number on the sign, the phone rang and rang for good 8 min. Someone answered supposedly to transfer me, when wasn’t I suppose to dial 2 for curbside pickup?!?! It rang a couple minutes before they hung up on me. Called again, rang again for another 8 minutes, before being hung up on again. Called again and rang another 8 minutes, finally got answered and I was already furious and asked them not to hang up on me. Home Depot was faster and less frustrating. Fix this like now!

When it comes to houseplants this Lowe's has the best selection in the area out of all the box stores. I have found a lot of great clearance ones as well as rare-type plants. When I'm in town I always have to stop by because you never know what you might find.

I too would give Lowes Idaho Falls zero stars ... due to a total lack of care for their customers. I bought a water softener from them. It had (i) concealed damage and (ii) left over water was still in the unit. Obviously someone returned a damaged water softener to them (don't buy anything from Lowes when the original packaging has been opened or, better yet, shop at Home Depot) and they turned around (obviously without checking it) and sold it as new to me. I am disgusted with Lowes. That they don't check out expensive returned merchandize shows how little they care for their customers. So far the manufacturer (A.O. Smith) has been great ... they even have a special number to call when the local Lowes store gives you grief about returning the manufacturer's products for exchange. Imagine that ... a special number to call when Lowes is a PITA.
